Chapter Fifteen: On A Lookout
Claustrophobic.
That's what she felt when she was trapped in the chest, all dark and gloomy. It's as if she was an unborn baby trapped in its mother's uterus.
Relieved.
That's what she felt when she saw Kristoff open the chest and light seeped into her eyes. When her boyfriend lend her a hand and stood up, crushing him into a hug.
Cautious.
That's what she felt right after when she saw him out on the door as her and her friends-slash-boyfriend walk out of the corrupted hotel. Why he chose this abandoned and creepy hotel confused her as to why this place.
Now she felt something different minutes ago of the ride from the hotel to her apartment that is accompanied by Rapunzel. She kept quiet during the ride as Elsa and Kristoff, the driver being Jack, told her how worried they were and how she should never run off. She kept quiet as they hand her the usual tea she drinks: lemon and ginger. What she felt now is weird.
Unsure.
That's what she felt. It's a weird word. Unsure. It says you're not confused but it also says that you don't know what you're doing. It's the opposite of sure just putting an un. She felt that. She knows what to do, its the matter of fact of how you do them. One of them are choosing which. She doesn't want to harm any danger but she also wants to warn them.
What is she going to do now?

"Do you think Anna's acting a bit strange?" Elsa suddenly asked out of nowhere as she filed the papers, leaving her with more piles of paper to document. She sighed. She has a lot of work to do for this hotel and it didn't help due to the drama going on between their friends.
Jack glanced up at her, confused as to why she asked that as he helped her file the papers. "Why you ask that?" he asked back to her question.
Her mouth moved a bit and took a sip from her mug of coffee. "I don't know. It's been a week since her missing and she's been really quiet and always so...cautious or unsure," she answered his question. She took more papers on the other side of her was neat desk but now so messy.
"What? You think she's not herself?" Jack rephrased her question from before as he also took a sip of his coffee. He looked up from the desk to her.
She shrugged at his question and leaned back dow at her comfortable chair. "Maybe," she muttered. They finished another pile of papers but there were more to go. This has been going on since this morning. She printed out a booklet of the workers' job for the build including their accommodations, the catering, the sources and their schedule. Unfortunately, the photocopier had a malfunction and accidentally copied more than enough of what she needed and everything was out of order.
Just in time, Jack had come in telling her that there was a meeting up ahead that was changed into that morning due to some people not being able to come to the appointed day. But as soon as he stepped in her huge office, he saw her being all stressed out and her office a mess of papers. He quickly jumped into help and postponed the meeting until the week after to sort things out. She was glad that he came to rescue or else she would've been really stressed out by now to the point where she just wants to jump off a cliff.
"Well maybe she's still about...you know scared about the whole thing," he said as they already finished the half of the pile. They kept on working. "She was trapped in a chest in that wretched hotel which could have potential if invested properly."
Elsa chuckled. "Don't tell me you already placed a bid on it," she said as they soon finished another pile. She took another sip of her coffee and sighed. Jack chuckled and muttered a maybe as they kept working. Elsa was about to lecture to him about investing money correctly when Chloe beeped in. She pressed the button. "Yes Chloe?" she asked.
"A Mr. Haddock is here to see you with your sister and some people," she answered with a confused voice. "They don't have an appointment but they insisted that you would let them in."
The CEO chuckled again. "Let them in Chloe and can you come in to send these papers?" she answered.
"Yes ma'am," she answered and stopped pressing the button. Soon, the door to her office opened and in came Chloe with her friends. The assistant grabbed the pile of papers that they finished and left, leaving the ten friends behind. Not surprisingly, they all fitted in Elsa's humongous office.
They all greeted Jack and Elsa and all settled down on a seat. "So...what brings you all here?" Elsa asked as she finished her mug of coffee.
"Well our parents are very proud of us having to take over the companies we own and take it responsibly that they decided to throw us a party," Rapunzel squealed, throwing her arms up.
Most of them groaned as Anna stayed silent. She wanted to squeal with her cousin but she has no energy to. She doesn't have any more energy since she thought a lot about last week and what it meant. "A party?" Merida groaned as she leaned back on the wall. "I've had enough with these business parties, they're all boring." Most of them agreed to her statement.
"It's not going to be a business party, we'll make it a really enjoyable one," Punzie smiled. "Plus all of our parents agreed to it and you all have a job to it. Merida, your restaurant is catering. Jack and Elsa, the venue will be in your hotel. Anna and I will do the interior designs and I'll make sure there are the security around. Hiccup you can get the press for this ball and the rest can help."
"Do we have to help?" Astrid asked as she leaned her head on Hiccup's shoulder. The boyfriend smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "I mean can't we just show up and eat the food then go?" Hiccup chuckled at her suggestion.
Punzie sighed and rolled her eyes. "No Astrid, that is not how you should act," she chastised the girl as if she was the mother. Hiccup and Astrid both looked at each other and laughed together. Oh boy, this is going to be a dreadful day.

Here's a thoughtful question for you guys to think about this book. Who do you think is the leader? Like out of the ten main characters here? Astrid, Hiccup, Elsa, Jack, Anna, Kristoff, Rapunzel, Flynn/Eugene, Merida or Eret? Who do you think rules the ten friends?
Hmm...I wonder who...
Tell me of who you think who it is because I'm curious to know.
Anyways, hope you like it!
