Chapter Twelve: Memories

"Elsa!" Jack yelled after her into the summer breeze as he ran to her. She slowly walked for him to catch up to her. "Hey," he breathlessly greeted her. "A-Are you okay? I shouldn't be asking after you stormed out but...just wanted to ask."

She looked up from the concrete ground she was looking and up to him and gave him a small smile. "I'm fine."

He cocked an eyebrow up. "Just fine? I'm sure you're more than fine," he replied. She nodded softly as her answer to him. "Come on, don't be such a downer," he chuckled as he flicked her nose playfully. "Come on, where's that Elsa smile that I love to see? The one where she shows her teeth and smile gratefully." He tickled her sides gently.

Elsa giggled and smiled the way he described it. "There it is!" Jack exclaimed. "That's it."

Elsa smiled more. "Thanks for the cheering up, Jack," she thanked him softly.

"No problem," he shrugged. "So, do you want to go back to them since it is kind of getting chilly out here and they're probably worried about you."

She shook her head. "Nah, let them worry for a while so they can feel what I felt before," she scoffed softly. She crossed her arms and her smile turned back upside down. "I couldn't believe that they're not worried about Anna. She didn't mean to say it out loud to Merida's mother, I'm sure. It wasn't fair on her. And now she's gone."

"Hey, don't think that way," he soothed her softly. "How about forgetting what they've done and...oh! Let's go for dinner, together."

She shook her head once more. "I think I'll just go to my office and start working on our project on the hotels. They can't be done by themselves," she chuckled softly.

He smiled softly as he knew she was going to say that. She always would work or study when she was feeling down. "Perfect, I'll come since it is a collaboration with the Frost. Your office? I'll order Chinese," he offered.

"Sounds good to me, Mr. Frost."

"Th-They're the monsters," the strawberry blonde woman whispered to herself. "They're the reasons th-the family of my fr-friends are dead." She rocked herself back and forth on the corner of her cell. "They killed them, for money, for power, f-for everything they had. I h-have to tell them..."

"Shut up!" the guard outside her cell yelled. "You never stop talking, do you?"

She looked up at the man who was part of this monster's pack. She said nothing but gave him a deathly stare.

"How's she doing?" a voice she heard came into the view. She knew who it was instantly. He turned to her. "How are you doing you little escapist?"

She growled at him. "Let me out of here!" she yelled and stood up. She stomped over to the bars and held them. "What do you want me for? I have nothing to give you!" she spat on his face.

"Yet I gave you something, something I can never take away from you: information," he stated. "If I let you go, you will tell everyone. And everyone will come and destroy my set future."

She shook her head. "I promise to not tell anyone. I won't say it if you let me go. Please."

"And risk the chance of you accidentally telling it like you did with Merida's boyfriend?" he scoffed. "No thank you."

She gasped loudly and stepped back, letting go of the bars. "H-How did you know that?" she asked as her hands trembled.

He chuckled at her reaction. "I know everything. Oh and by the way, thank you for doing that. Makes it a whole lot easier for me."

She furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean by that?"

He chuckled again. "It made it so easier to get my brother back on my side now since he will feel unwanted due to the fact of Merida's mother. Plus, he will see the true side of yours and their families. And he will regret every single thing he has ever done with you and your friends that he will get revenge."

She widened her eyes. She now knows his plans. To make his own little brother turn on them and kill. To kill every last one of them until there is nothing left. Since then, they can take the money, they can take everything but if they find out who killed them, Jordan will be out of the case because Eret did it. And that's where it hit her.

Jordan is going to make Eret kill for his own.

Jordan is going to manipulate Eret to kill everyone who he thinks of as family and have him arrested and Jordan can get the money.

Eret is going to regret after everything and tries to bring everything back together.

And most of all, Eret is going to kill the one whom he loves most: Merida.

Short update. Did want to make this more longer, sorry if I couldn't...

Anyways, looks like we might see Eret be the psychopath and kill everyone...including Merida.
