Chapter Eleven: Second Warning

She ran, panting loudly with tears clouding up her green eyes. The tears that made home in her eyes are now doubling now but never jumping out into her rosy cheeks and down to her chin, falling down to her shirt.

She needed to get away from him, needed to tell her family, needed to warn them about all this.

She stopped her tracks, screeching into a stop. She widened her eyes as she nearly tipped over the ground.

She just realised.

She can't tell them. They don't trust her. She betrayed her friend and they're not going to listen to her after all that. She lost their trust. All of them. There is nowhere for her to go! She can't go to her sister, she can't go to her roommate and she can't even go to her boyfriend! Her lips trembled at this thought. She has no one left.

"Why did the princess stop running from the beast?" someone maliciously evil whispered behind her. No...she doesn't want to hear his voice now. Him and his atrocious family did this to them. They are the reason why. They're the villains, they're the monsters and they're the reason why this is all happening. "Why'd you stop? Did you...remember something? Something about...trust?" He walked to where she was facing but her head dropped to the ground to not see his face. She couldn't face him, not after everything he did and what he's going to do.

He chuckled deeply at her reaction. Oh, he loved seeing the people who made him suffer have their share of his part. He couldn't stop this satisfaction gurgling inside of him and he doesn't want it to stop so he kept chuckling at her, knowing that she got the message that he loved this.

He knew everything. He knew from the very start about what has happened. It might've took him years to track down every single piece of information that he needed to know, but it was all worth it. It was worth everything he read and it was worth of where it had happened at the moment.

From the very start he had known from his parents, he took this chance to learn all about it. After all, he was the heir to all. He was the future leader of all this empire and he had one chance to take it. But after terrible accidents to his closed ones, his future was nothing but black. When his family lost it all, he kept trying to get information about everything he worked for. He knew them, knew their heirs, knew their plans. He knew everything in a span of eight years and in those years, the heirs have grown into beautiful and handsome children. His father kept track of them also with him. Although a thirteen years old boy with his father tracking eight year olds children might seem odd, it was worth all of it.

After all those years of tracking, they finally put their plans into action and it was oh so worth it all. It was worth every wait, every 4:00 am get up, every tracking and every lack of sleep for a thirteenth years old boy. He saw it all. He saw every bit of humanity left in his and his father's soul, killing the people they want dead just to get what they want.

"Don't worry princess," he spat in her direction as Anna winced at his tone. "You're not going anywhere until I get what I want." He took her arm and roughly wrapped his thick fingers around her trembling arm. "And I'm not going to let you go since you know every single bit of juicy things I have gathered up in all my life. You're not telling them anything."

Anna whimpered at what he said. She can't tell them. She can't even get to them. She needs to warn them about all what she learned. Every nook and cranny he had just told her a while ago. But alas, she can't, not until she gets out of this bastard's grip on her arm.

The story he just told her all about her family and her friend's family is tragic. And it was all their fault. It was all their fault they died, all their fault that they were so greedy. She wished they could just disappear away from the Earth, disappear into a nothing as if they never existed.
