Chapter Thirteen: Turning Back

"What did we do?" Punzie asked softly after a couple of minutes of silent between the remains. She bowed her head down and sighed. "I feel horrible."

They all sighed softly. Astrid looked at the rest of her friends. "Punzie it's not entirely your fault or anyone else's," she said in a positive voice.

Eugene chuckled. "Oh yes it is," he rambled. "I mean, did you see how Elsa looked so disappointed and angry at you guys for saying Anna isn't important? Whoo!"

Astrid glared at him in a deathly way. "Eugene, not helping," she grumbled. Her fists clenched tightly but her longtime boyfriend held a hand on her shoulder, calming her down a bit.

"I think what Astrid is saying is that we should apologise to Elsa for saying all those stuff," he interrupted as he stepped besides her. "Especially you Merida." He glared at her.

She looked up from the ground and saw the look on their faces. "Me? H-How is it my fault?" she argued. "Anna was the one who told my mother I was dating Eret, it should be her fault!"

Punzie scoffed, crossing her arms. "Merida, for once, admit that it was your own fault," she stated. The red haired girl gasped. "It was also your fault because you never had the guts to tell your mother that you're dating him."

The shocked girl widened her eyes, surprised to her very good friend's words. This was one time she had ever turned her back to her. They always had each other's back.

Her and Punzie were the first ever best friends in this group. Considering the fact that they both went to same schools. They first started out in kindergarten and making friends with each other on the first week. Since then, they were inseparable. Since freshman year, Punzie introduced Merida to her cousin Anna who first started out in homeschool with her sister but now came to a regular school.

Around sophomore year, they found themselves being friends with Astrid (who was a junior at the time) despite all the chaos. Becoming friends at a party with Astrid was pretty much a whirlwind since they heard about her and Hiccup's relation with each other. They then got to junior year when Astrid was in senior year.

That was the year when Anna's sister came, Elsa. The one who unraveled everything from the past. The one who made them realise who they are and what they are destined to be. During those years, her and Punzie never had a single argument. They always have been together, being the best of friends they could be and support each other.

But tonight was different. Rapunzel, the girl who she shared with everything, turned her back to her at this moment. The sad feeling was different this time. It was painfully different since it was her very own bestfriend who caused it.

Merida sat back down on the couch and sighed softly. She felt defeated. She felt...nothing. "I see," she mumbled softly but soft enough for everyone can hear. "We should apologise to them." She felt Eret's hand squeeze hers and returned her gaze to him. He smiled softly.

"Maybe apologies would be far too less of what we've done," Eugene suggested as Merida and Eret stood up. "I mean, Elsa stormed out so angrily and Jack looked disappointed in us."

Hiccup sighed. "So what are you suggesting?" he asked. Eugene didn't answer but just shrugged, having no suggestions.

"Bring them a cake?" Punzie chirped as she held her blonde hair that was still incredibly long that is up to her knees.

All them shook their heads, silently saying no to that suggestion. "We could do what Elsa wants," Eret spoke for the first time that evening. "Track Anna down and rescue her with Elsa. That way, she might forgive us. All of us."

They all smiled at the suggestion he had and went on to work to it. They'll save Anna and get forgiveness.

"Thanks," Elsa muttered softly to Jack as she looked at him. "Thank you for...taking my mind of a bit about what happened. But I'm still angry an-and..."

He looked at her also and raised an eyebrow. "And what?" he asked for her sentence to finish.

She sighed and looked down at the table they had laid papers on with plans written in it. "I'm just angry," she said softly. She took her mug which consisted coffee in it and sipped the liquid that had been contained in it.

Suddenly, a ringing tone rang and echoed into the room. Jack realised it was his phone and took it from his pocket. He answered the phone call.

"Hello?" he answered and stood up. He walked slowly out of reach so Elsa wouldn't hear. The platinum blonde hair girl only heard the words of 'You all come here' and 'Are you sure?' and that was all she heard since Jack ended the call and walked back to her.

She tried to look normal so he wouldn't have the suspicion of thinking she was eavesdropping. "Who was that?" she asked in a casual voice after clearing her throat.

Jack sat back down besides her. "The guys," he answered. "They're coming here and apparently they tracked down Anna so we could go and get her."

She widened her eyes. She couldn't believe what she had heard. "They know where my sister is?" she asked happily, trying to confirm that she heard Jack right.

"Yeah they do," he nodded and smiled along with her. "We're going to meet them down at the lobby in a few minutes so pack your stuff and go."

Elsa smiled at the feeling. She knew she could count on her friends. She could count on them to lean on when she's falling down. She could count on them for everything.

When they went down, she hugged every one of them and muttered a 'thank you' over and over again. Now they're going to get her sister back. Now they're ready.

Whoo, that was a lot. Originally, there was going to be more but I decided to leave that part for the next chapter.

So how's everyone been? How is the story so far? I know it's kind of moving a bit too slow but I'm going along with it.

Anyone seen the new episodes of Race to the Edge? I have and I am SOOO angry! I'm now waiting for another season which will take FOREVER D:

Anyways, I saw the 5th Wave yesterday and it was AHMAZING! Evan Walker (Alex Roe) was sooo hot... Of course not hotter than Hiccup but hot enough XD

That's all for now.

Hope you like it!

This is xxwhoareyouoo and I'm going to...

Peace out!
