Announcement

As I laid down on my bed I heard a knock on my door.

"Go away!" I mumbled.

"Alright, well there's more ways than one to get into a room anyway." Carlos said as he walked through the mirror.

I sat up quickly, "Carlos?"

"Doors are overrated." He shrugged.

I looked at him, "You can still do that?"

Carlos looked back at me, "Well duh, that's like my gift right there." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes and smiled softly, "That's pretty cool but there are doors for a reason, privacy."

"Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am." he said as he sat on the bed, "By the way, I know you didn't slap Viola."

"Camilo didn't seem to believe me." I muttered.

"I'm sure he was just in shock." Carlos said supportively.

I looked at Carlos for a moment, "I'm glad that you're trying to be optimistic right now Carlos, but I just don't understand why Camilo didn't believe me. I mean we were practically dating." I groaned as I leaned my head back onto my pillow.

"Y/n come downstairs, Dolores has a special announcement." Isabela said as she left the door opened.

Carlos and I looked at each other as we walked down the stairs, which Camilo seemed to be waiting for me down there.

"Y/n-" Camilo started.

"Don't." I said grumpily before walking next to Mirabel in the tiny circle that surrounded Dolores and Mariano.

"What- what did I do?" Camilo asked Carlos.

Carlos looked at me and then back at Camilo, "Dude seriously?"

"Well I'm not joking right now, so yes! I'm being pretty serious Carlos!" He said rushed.

Carlos sighed, "Y/n is just mad that you didn't believe her, I mean you both were practically dating."

"I didn't mean it like that though." Camilo whispered.

"Maybe you didn't, but y/n counted on you out of everyone there. You kind of..just embarrassed her." Carlos said before he walked behind me.

Across the huddle I looked at Nic, his arm around Viola who smiled at me. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"Dolores, what is the special news?" Isabela asked curiously.

"Well..Marino and I have decided to have our wedding next week." Dolores smiled, looking at Mariano.

"Oh, congratulations." Julieta said nicely.

"Oh my little girl is growing up so fast," Pepa hugged Dolores tightly with a rain cloud pouring on top of her.

Felix gave Mariano a petrifying look, "I'm watching you."

Mariano gulped nervously as his eyes followed Felix.

"Congrats Dolores." I smiled doing a small high five with her.

"Thank you y/n." Dolores said softly. She knelt down next to me, "You have to help me with the wedding plans later." She whispered to me.

I winked at her, "You got it D." I smiled as I started to walk away.

"Y/n-" Camilo started again.

I looked at him but he got interrupted by Isabela.

"Y/n, you need to help me choose which flowers to do for the wedding! Dolores said the theme is white but there is so many choices! There's petunias, roses, lilies, tulips, daisies, daffodils!" Isabela exclaimed.
