I'm emerging from the woodwork to simply post this lovely predicament I happened to run into this week (yep, literally). It isn't a good story, but I need to mentally recover from the trauma of damaging my beloved Uma/Elric/whatever I eventually decide to call my precious.

No, no, it wasn't my fault. Someone backed out in the parking lot, blocking my path...and since it was raining, slamming my brakes didn't help. Sigh. My parents weren't too upset though...since our van was in an accident earlier this week and it looks like it might have been totaled after only five years of faithful service. So...that kinda worked out in my favor. 😅😭 But my word, dealing with insurance... 😤 How's everyone else's week going?
