Will No One Help Me?

Yes, yes, that's a movie quote. 

So, in all my years of consuming stories, there's a certain character relationship that I feel hasn't been explored to its fullest potential. 

"What?" you say, "How can this be?"

Well, you see, I think many people find it boring, because of stereotypes and such.

This relationship, of course, is sisterhood.

Yes, I know we have Little Women. And all the Austen books featuring sisters. They are some of my favorite books ever written, partly because of that relationship. 

But think about it. Have you seen a good sister duo in any form of media in the last few years?

Besides the movie-which-will-not-be-named that took the world by storm...of course. sighs

I've had a hard time coming up with stories that feature the bond between sisters. Sure, you have books with siblings, like brother-sister relationships and brother-brother relationships. And brother-brother relationships are one of my favorites to read/watch in stories.

Going off on a related tangent here, but this song is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. Fight me. 

But I haven't seen any stories with a good sister duo who actually have a real, fleshed-out relationship. And now I really want to attempt to write one. Let me just file it away with the hundred other stories I want to write...
