Fair warning, I'm going to be fangirling a lot about a certain book. 😂

1. What is your favorite thing about reading?

Seeing a story crafted and fleshed out. I ADORE analyzing stories to death, so I'm always curious to see how stories work and make us love the characters, plot and world.

2. Which male character is your favorite?

I've always loved Faramir. I'm still salty that the movie ruined his character. 😒

Halt O'Carrick is amazing as well. I've always loved his sense of humor....because it mirrors my own. 😂

3. Which female character is your favorite?

Okay...this one's tough. I typically don't like female characters in books, for some strange reason.

HOWEVER, Jane Austen is brilliant at creating relatable female characters. I love Elizabeth Bennett and Emma Woodhouse, for that reason. I relate more to Lizzie, but Emma is just hilarious to read about. 😂

4. Who is your favorite villain of all time?

And now we get to the reason I wanted to do this tag. 😁

Horror novels have the best villains. No surprise there, I suppose, but they've taught me so much about creating believable bad guys.

So, the Night Gardener, from The Night Gardener is my favorite villain ever created. He's creepy AND he reminds me so much of my favorite television villain, The Beast from Over the Garden Wall. I could fangirl about them both for days.

Mr. Dark, from Something Wicked This Way Comes, is also amazing. He's insanely creepy. It was glorious.

5. Who is your least favorite character of all time?

*sighs* Like Night before me, it has to be Edward. He's a psychopathic, crazy stalker that won't leave Bella alone.

I mean, Bella's terrible too. But Edward...oh boy.

I haven't even finished chapter 1 of New Moon and I already want to throw up.

Eragon too, but that kid is just boring. At least the movie version was hilarious.

6. Which book do you think has the strongest plot?

Oh boy...I'm not sure.

OH WAIT.

Fawkes, by Nadine Brandes, has one of the strongest plots I've ever seen. It's engaging and exciting. Plus, the magic system is fantastic.

And speaking of that, NADINE BRANDES' NEW BOOK RELEASES TODAY AND I JUST GOT IT IN THE MAIL. AHHHHHH

*shoves New Moon to the side* I'm reading Romanov instead. 😁

Also, I just finished All the Light We Cannot See and while I hesitate to recommend it, the plot is amazing. You simply can't predict the ending.

7. What gets on your nerves most in a story?

Sex scenes. Books don't need sex scenes, people.

Also mindless filler (*cough* Eragon *cough*).

8. Which book that you own has the best cover?

Before Beauty by Brittany Fichter.

*sighs* So beautiful

*sighs* So beautiful.

Also, I'm glad I snagged this copy before she changed it. The new cover...isn't that beautiful. Or romantic, for that matter. 😂

9. Do you let people borrow your books?

Only if I trust them well enough. Most of my books come back damaged in some way...and I prefer my books to have covers on them, thank you very much.

10. If a movie could be based on any book, what would it be?

I really want a movie based on The Night Gardener. Is that too much to ask?

11. Which author has inspired you the most?

Probably C. S. Lewis, Jonathan Auxier, and Brittany Fichter. I know, I know, that's three. But they're all amazing. Check out their books, please. :D

12. What single book would you be unable to live without?

The Bible.

Feel free to do this if you want. I'm not tagging anyone though. 😁
