Yep, it's one of those stories.
I feel like I deserve to self-deprecate myself once in a while. After all, I wrote two entire commentaries on terrible books, bashing them the entire time. It's only fair that I commentate on my terrible works of fiction.
There is one difference though, between those books I commentate on and my own, terrible stuff. I never published these. *smirks*
Here's the first one then.
So, I basically plagiarized this from a interactive game I played whenever I went to the Great Wolf Lodge. (Yeah, I know. But I was only eight! I was young and foolish!)
Everything in here is the same, EXCEPT for the names. I had to change them, for good reasons (All the characters were my siblings, cousins and myself. Boy was I original.)
Brace yourselves, and prepare to read a hilarious short story that my eight-year-old self wrote years ago.
I'll be breaking this up into short blocks, for sanity's sake. Rest assured, this entire story was one paragraph though. *sighs*
My commentary is in BOLD.

Magi Quest - The Beginning
My foolish eight-year-old self thought this could be a series, apparently. I think I tried to write a sequel, but thankfully, I had no inspiration.
By Brianna Thomas.
I thought that could be my pen name. It didn't stick, as you can probably tell.
Leeana Brickwall sat on her front porch staring into space. It had happened so fast, she thought, it was a dream. First, her sister waking her up in the middle of the night, telling her a man wanted to see her, and then dashing across the lawn to their cousin's house. She had gotten up and slowly walked downstairs. A man wearing a starry blue cloak was sitting on the couch with Lilliana and Joe.
I was tired of the "anas."
"Where were her parents?" she had thought. Oh right, they were on an extended vacation to Alaska and weren't coming back till next week.
Fun fact: my parents actually went to Alaska one summer and left my sister and I with relatives. Clearly, my eight-year-old self wasn't original. My TEN-YEAR-OLD SELF THOUGH...but that fanfiction is for another time.
Arianna opened the door slowly and entered the room with their cousins, Bob and Juliana. "We are all here." Arianna had said. "Good" said the man "I am called the Questmaster PLAGIARISM ALERT I give quests to those worthy enough to take them. And you six as a team are surly *surely* worthy enough.
Heh heh heh. Sorry guys, but you all aren't worthy. I know, I know, some random stranger told you all that you were worthy, but you're not. Only one is.
"But sir." said Bob "How do we do this? We have nothing to aid us." That is why I give you these." The Questmaster waved his hand and six wands appeared.
Deus ex Wandina.
Two were made of blue and silver twisted together. These he gave to Bob and Joe. Three were made of pink and silver twisted together. These he gave to Leeana, Lilliana and Juliana. The last one was made to look like wood and it had a solar topper on top. This he gave to Arianna. "These I give you to aid you on your quest. Use them wisely." the Questmaster had said, "And here is the first riddle:
I plagiarized this as well.
'Shadow moss and knothole fungas
root of forest fern
