Crush and crash - XiaoRina ft. ?

Normal POV
Xiaoting with her friends, Xingqiao, Jaewon and Chaehyun were sitting on some benches around the school campus, having some snack on their break when they heard some chaos around them.

With lollipop still inside her mouth, Chaehyun was looking around for the cause until her eyes went wide with the sight of the school 'IT Girl' as known as Kawaguchi Yurina.

"Ms. Kawaguchi is here. No wonder students are making such a big fuss." Xingqiao said as her eyes landed on the mentioned girl.

Jaewon shaking her head lightly with the sight before nudging Xiaoting's shoulder who was so lost with her music while closing her eyes.

Feeling someone nudging her, Xiaoting opened her eyes and turned her head to Jaewon when the latter signaled with her mouth to some direction.

Xiaoting followed her friend's gaze and meet the sight of Yurina who were walking with a few of her friends.

Yurina's group was walking in front of Ting's group and in that moment Xiaoting met eyes with the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.

Well, Xiaoting herself is also famous. She was in the swimming club and the best swimmer who represents their school.

While Yurina was an ice figure skater who also represent their school.
Yurina was the 'E' type while Xiaoting was the 'I' type.

Being two of the most famous students at school but both, Xiaoting and Yurina rarely have any interaction together.
But without the other noticed, both of them always stole a glance at each other in every chance they could.

Like that one time when Xiaoting was helping Mrs. Jung, the history teacher carrying her documents or that time when Yurina was reading some books in the library and Xiaoting was behind her staring all along.

Weeks later
Summer vocation was approaching so does swimming competition.

Xiaoting was practicing alone at the school pool. She was getting ready to jump when her three best friend were running toward her.

"What's up with you guys?" Xiaoting calmly asked as she put on her swimming glasses.

"Ting, you know we have a crush on miss Kawaguchi right?" Chaehyun asked as Jaewon and Xingqiao nodded their head slightly with the younger girl.

"So what?" "She didn't return our feeling which is sad. But if we were to lose her to some idiot we better lose her to you."

Xiaoting confused with her friends random idea. To be honest, ever since they made eye contact before, Xiaoting feel something strange inside her.

The unfamiliar feeling like those butterflies flying around her stomach just like her best friend always told her.

"I don't understand what you means." Xiaoting replied shortly ready to jump in to the water when she heard,

"Whatever, we told her already. That Shen Xioating from class 3-1 like Kawaguchi Yurina."

Xiaoting pull her head out of the water and found her three idiot friends standing there with silly grins on their face.

Since that day at the pool, Xiaoting coming to school with different atmosphere. If the past student would only glance at her shyly now they stared and squeal toward her happily.

'I can't believe it.' 'They would made a cute couple.' 'I always ship them.' 'The visual they hold, I swear.'.....

Xiaoting heard students whispering words which she doesn't understand.

She walked to her class and bring out her textbook to review lesson ignoring the commotion around her.

"Yahhh, what are you doing? I thought you'd go to confess already." Xiaoting heard a familiar voice before 3 familiar faces appeared in front of her.

"Confess? Confess what?" "Omo, Shen Xiaoting, I didn't raise you like this mate." Xingqiao said dramatically.

"Istg, Yurina would be waiting right now. Come on Shen, go get your girl." Jaewon continued.

Shen Xiaoting thought hard. She wants to make sure if her feeling was surreal. She didn't want to go just because her friend told her to.

Releasing a big sigh Xiaoting abruptly stood up,
"Where to?" She asked randomly but her friends caught on and have the biggest smiles before Qiao patting her shoulder.

"The rainbow bridge. Good luck mate."

Xiaoting ran outside the class follow by her classmates to the said destination.

Arriving there, class 3-1 saw students from class 3-2 leading by Yurina were walking from the other side of the bridge.

Seem like time stopped there as Xiaoting and Yurina both staring at each other not breaking the eyes contact.

Until they were in the middle of the bridge that they stopped walking but still staring.

"What do you want to tell me Shen?" Yurina asked with a small smile.

Xiaoting was nervous and was finding words to say. Silent engulf them. All the students who witness the scene were holding their breath waiting for the moment.

"I-I like you, Kawaguchi Yurina." Xiaoting finally uttered, loud enough.

"What did you say? I can't hear you." Yurina teased as the other try to hold on their squeal.

Taking a deep breathe, Xioating looked up and stare straight to Yurina's soul before saying,

"I like you Yurina, would you go on a date with me?" "Took you long enough." Yurina replied before half running to hug Xiaoting as other students started cheering loudly for the couple.

Register what has happened Xioating lifted Yurina up and spin her now girlfriend around happily.

She put the girl down and peck her cheek swiftly missing the pink shade which appeared on the shorter girl.

Just as everyone were celebrating the new found relationship, Jaewon smiled sadly from the rooftop. None of her friend noticed her absence from the crowd though as they were too engaged on the couple.

*Finally, you got her now.*

Jaewon walked off from the rooftop not noticing a figure staring at her from the corner.

*I hope you can be happy too, Jae*

I just miss them and decide to write this. And yeah, this chap was inspired by some movie I have watched some times ago.

Well, as you may noticed I put a slight angst at the end of the chap. Heheheh, idk why too if you ask me.
