Voice - ChaeShiro

Normal POV

The sun has already set hours ago and the moon shown up to be on duty. It was a called to be back home after a long day but still there were ppl who was out there busying with their own lives.

Walking lifelessly along the bridge of Hangang after her part time job, Mashiro, a Japanese girl who moved to Korea to follow her dream pf becoming an idol only to find herself failed as many auditions as she applied.

She has been working during the day and would go to train with other free agent trainees during night time.

As it's still early evening, she dropped by the convenience store to grab some suppers before heading to training.

As she paid for the cup noodle, she started cooking it and would bring it to sit near the glass window.

And then there she was, Shiro saw a girl with a light brown hair slush front bang. The girl has pale skin like a porcelain if Mashiro would compare. Her cheek would go *nom nom* when she ate.

She was sitting outside the store enjoying her noodle with a guitar bag laying on the chair next to her.

Mashiro from inside the store can't help but to observe the girl every moves.

Chaehyun Scene

Chaehyun was on the way to her work when she suddenly craving for some noodles.

Stopping by a convenience store nearby, Chaehyun was having a cup of her favorite noodle.

As she finished, she took out her guitar and practice for a bit.

With a blew to her bang and a relaxing breathe, Chaehyun found herself lost with her own world before her fingers started to strum whatever come to her mind at the moment.

A similar melody started to echo as Chaehyun started to sing.

'Like the countless stars
I'm always in the same place
I'll shine on you with all the light I have
So don't hide yourself, will you show me yourself?
Be comfortable with the way you are
That's right, it's okay to be okay.'

Closing her eyes, singing the song verse after verse Chaehyun let herself wandering off for a while not realizing an admiration pair of eyes from the girl sitting a table behind her.

Bach to Mashiro

As she saw Chaehyun took out her guitar, she silently bring her stuffs outside and sit herself a table away from Chaehyun.

Mashiro lost in Chaehyun's angelic voice as she stopped eating and just listen and admire Chaehyun. She felt soothing with Chaehyun's singing like the girl is comforting her through her voice.

Mashiro looked at Chaehyun with so much admiration. *She's so pretty and talented.*

As she finish the song, Chaehyun realized that it's her time to go to work now.

Mashiro saw Chaehyun stood up and prepare to leave. With an unknown instinct, Mashiro wrapped up and silently follow the girl from behind already forgotten about her training for the night.

Chaehyun was walking to her workplace when she felt like someone was following her. She stopped on her track and looked back only to find no one since Mashiro is hiding behind a bush.

Planet Pub

Chaehyun was working part time at the pub. She played the acoustic guitar for the live band and sometimes she would sing too.

Tonight was no exception, Chaehyun would sing a song or two per customer request.

And there was Mashiro who got inside just to blend herself as one of the customer.

"You must be new here. I never saw you."

The red hair girl known as Xiaoting, a bartender said to Mashiro after taking the girl's order as the girl was enjoying Chaehyun performance.

"Ah yeah, I was passing by and thought of grabbing a drink." Mashiro replied with an awkward smile then she glanced back to Chaehyun.

"I see. Please enjoy your drink." Xiaoting replied before walked back to continue her job.

"Emmm, excuse me?" Mashiro called out to Xiaoting.
"Yeah, how may I help you?" Xiaoting replied with a polite smile.

"May I know her name?" "Her? Who?"
"Over there. The girl who plays the guitar."

Mashiro said as she pointed to Chaehyun who was still performing on the mini stage.

"Wae? Are you crushing one her or something?"
"Naeee? A-Ani. I was ju—"

Xiaoting chuckled with Mashiro's expression.

"She's Chaehyun by the way. Our gem."
"Gem?" "Sure. She's the most famous one here. Many customers like her. They always request her to sing. Some even willing to pay extra just to have a drink with her.

"Ahh, I see." "But she always declined the drink request one. She's a light drinker." Xiaoting whispered the last part.

"Ting unnie, can I have a glass of water please? My throat is burning."

Mashiro froze upon hearing Chaehyun's voice from behind her.

"Ohhh, are you Ting's unnie friend? I never saw you before."

"Ani, I'm just a customer."

"A cute one though." Chaehyun said with a charming smile showing her gum as Mashiro could only blush at the latter's remark.

They talked for a while before Chaehyun need to be back on stage.

From the small talk, Shiro learned Chaehyun and Xioating names and found herself clicked quite well with them.

And after that night, Shiro found herself back to the pub so often to the point that she become close friend with the charming Chaehyun before it would bloom to be something else.

I'm not sure where is this from.
I just had an urge to write them after seeing Shiro always being a no.1 chaeromdan with her endless admiration for Chae's singing.
