Normal POV
Jaewon and Yujin were cuddle on the sofa while enjoying some movie from Netflix. Jaewon has her arms wrapped around Yujin from behind as her fiancée melted in her embrace.

"That was sad. They should be happy together." Yujin turn her body around and snuggle to Jaewon's chest while tighten her hold around her fiancée's waist.

"Aigooo~ it's just a movie baby." Jaewon chuckled as she caressed her fiancée's hair.

Their quality time was interrupted by a sound of Jaewon's phone.

-Nurse Jung is calling-

"What's up nurse Jung?" Jaewon released one of her arm from Yujin and picked up the phone.

"Sorry to call in this late. But there's so many emergency cases here and not enough doctors at the moment. So Doc. Kim would like to ask if you can do extra shift today?"

Jaewon silent for a moment and looked down to find her fiancée who looked up at her with knowing eyes.

Yujin kinda know what's this all about. Sure, being a well known doctor was tiring. You wouldn't have enough time for your lover or family but thank god, Jaewon always do her best to be a perfect girlfriend and that is something Yujin could brag about.

Yujin was playing with Jaewon's finger while caressing the ring on her ring finger. Yes, their engagement ring. She smile softly at the thought of a future with Jaewon.

"Baby, I need to go in today." Jaewon peck Yujin lips and said softly. Waking her fiancée from her thought.

"Sireo, I lost many cuddles this week." Yujin pouted and tighten her hold even more.

"I'll make it up to you. I'll ask for a week leave and we could go on vocation. How does that sound?" Jaewon tried to cheer her fiancée up.

She meant her words and Yujin knew it. Jaewon never break her promise.

"Promise?" Yujin asked and looked up with puppy eyes.
"Sure you had my word Ms. Fiancée." Jaewon said teasingly as Yujin blushed and bite her shoulder playfully.

After their deal, Jaewon carried Yujin bride style to their shared room and tugged her fiancée in.

"Sing me to sleep first." Yujin said cutely while holding Jaewon's hand. Jaewon chuckled lightly as her caressed her fiancée with her other hand and sing her their favorite song.

Soon after, Jaewon's sweet voice really lullaby Yujin to sleep. Slowly and carefully, Jaewon released her hand from Yujin and lean down to plant a kiss on her forehead. She was lingering there for minutes.

She stare at Yujin for a while before grabbing a bear plushie and place it near her fiancée.

*Keep your mom company until I'm back.* Jaewon whispered to her plushie.

She silently stand up and get ready to leave. Looking back to her fiancée one last time, something urge her to walk back and lean down to kiss Yujin's lips softly, afraid to wake the girl up.

*Wait for me. I'll be back to you.* Jaewon raise the blanket to cover Yujin warmly and leaving her house to the hospital.

Since it's late at night, the traffic is so free. But still, Jaewon being a good netizen, she follow the traffic rules strictly. She stopped at every stop lights.

Just about a few blocks away from the hospital, her phone rang. Connected to the earphone, Jaewon picked up her phone at the same time as the light also turn green. Jaewon drive forward not noticing a big truck also coming toward her.

The light is too bright and before she knew it, her car was flying in the air.
Glass shattered and has cut her face and body. She didn't have time to feel the pain and close her eyes.

"Jaewon, are you there? Jaewon-ah, what happened?" Between her consciousness, Jaewon heard her best friend, Doc. Kim's voice.

With her last energy Jaewon uttered, "P-p-please t-t-tell Yujin, I-I-I love h-h-her."

Doc. Kim or Chaehyun try to call for her friend but not a voice response back. She knew something bad happened to her best friend.

Back to Yujin
Yujin was sound asleep when her phone rang. With sleepiness, Yujin's reached her hand to find her phone and see an unknown number called her.

"Yeoboseyo?"
"Yujin-ah, this is Chaehyun. You need to come to the hospital now. Jaew-"

Yujin didn't listen to the rest as she rushly woke up and grab a taxi to the hospital.

As Yujin reached the hospital, the light of the operation room turned off too. The doctor raise a white cloths to cover Jaewon.

"Time of dead, 2:20am."

Yujin arrived at the operation room at the same time as the nurse pushing the hospital bed out with Jaewon's body.

Yujin can't believing her eyes with what she saw. With shaking hands, Yujin raise a white cloths off revealing the love of her life sleeping there palely.

Her knees grow weak as she fell. Before hitting the floor, Chaehyun was quick to rescue and hold her.

In the blink of an eye, Jaewon left the world, leaving behind her fiancée who embrace the memories of them alone.
