Kep1er 999! One-shot collections [Slow Update]

My precious friend(s) - 99z ft.Chaehyun

Time surely passed by quickly. As far as they remembered, they just debuted the other day, but now more than two years and a half already passed.

What they thought at first was to make the most of the time they were together, making a name for themselves and left with a legacy when their contracts ended. And what they didn't prepare for was a talk, for a possibly of extending. And much to their delight everything worked out, they were all so excited to be able to stay together for more not until their co-leader came back to the dorm with a news of "My company didn't agree."

So it came to final of seven members renewing and two will go back to their company with promises of unbreakable bond. They are family after all so they really keep their promises, from Mashiro and Yeseo still active in Kep1er group chat's to them updating about each other's schedules.

So it came as no surprise when a certain marshmallow knowing that her Chinese best friend was free for some times next week.

After finishing her schedules and comeback to the dorm, Mashiro messaged Xiaoting asking for a good time to meet up in which Xiaoting eagerly reply and that's how they set on a day to meet.

Xiaoting and Mashiro had been looking forward to their evening together all week. With Xiaoting only have morning dance practice and Mashiro only have one schedule for the day.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the city they decided to meet at a quaint little cafe nestled in a quiet corner of town, it was their usual place. The café, with its cozy ambiance and fairy lights, was the perfect setting for their date and the drink and treats were just bonus.

Xiaoting arrived first, excitedly awaiting her best friend's arrival. She was dressed in a simple and comfy outfit together with buck hat, something she would wear to practice. She has a bright smile as she glanced at the door. There she goes, Mashiro walked in through the door, dressed in a lovely floral dress that highlighted her artistic flair, looking effortlessly beautiful as far as Xiaoting remember. *She look more beautiful each time I saw her* Thought Xiaoting.

As Mashiro stopped at the table, Xiaoting stood up and they greeted each other with a warm hug with a soft whisper of 'I miss you' before taking their seats at a table by the window. The menu were offered to them with a variety of delightful options, and they spent a few moments choosing their favorites. Xiaoting decided on a strawberry cheesecake with iced americano, while Mashiro opted for a delicate fruit tarts, mango tart to be exact and a glass of water.

"You still obsess with mango." Xiaoting said softly with a light chuckle as Mashiro lightly slap her arm across the round table.

As they waited for their orders, they talked about their week, sharing stories and laughter. Xiaoting was intrigued by Mashiro's next group, and Mashiro was excited to know about her former group's next plan. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, each moment became more comfortable and joyful.

When their orders arrived, they savored every bite, ocassionally feeding each other small pieces as they moaned out of satisfaction. The playful exchange and shared smiles made their evening even more special. As they finished, Xiaoting insisted on paying before gently took the slightly younger girl's hand, leading her outside for a walk.

They wandered through the nearby park, where the soft rustling of leaves and the distant sound of a fountain created a serene backdrop. Xiaoting stopped by a small, picturesque step-stone, and they paused to enjoy the view. The reflection of the moonlight on the water added a magical touch of the evening.

"Thank you for today," Mashiro said softly, turning to Xiaoting. "It's been perfect."

Xiaoting smiled warmly, squeezing Mashiro's hand gently. "I couldn't agree more. I've had such a wonderful time."

As they continue their walk, the night air was filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by their ocassional laughter and soft conversation. The evening ended with a heartfelt goodbye and promises to plan their next date together.

"I can't believe you went to meet Shiro-unnie and didn't tell me." Xiaoting heard a fuming white tiger as she made her way inside their shared room. She chuckled a bit before walked up to a sulking Chaehyun before lightly squish her into a hug.

"Next time, Chaehyunie." Xiaoting said as she broke the hug and gently pat the younger's head.

"Promise?" Chaehyun looked up with puppy eyes and a pout while blinking cutely at Xiaoting.

"I promise." Xiaoting gave out a big smile before grabbing Chaehyun's hand and hooked their pinky.

Hey there!!
First of all, I'm sorry for the long absence...
There're so much happened in my life, one of which is my health... ngl, all these months I have been away, I had a writer block and have lost all the motivation to write.

And with the news of Kep1er, I'm happy they continue but also sad that they're not nine anymore. But life goes on and we need to move on ! All we need is times,

TMI: it has been months but I still cry whenever I heard Kep1er's songs. And I kept rewatching their old contents to lull myself.

And well this chapter came up after I rewatch Kep1er-view (where I felt in love with 99z) and Ting's last speech at "Kep1going" concert inspire me to write this. (Made this to comfort myself and hope it has the power to comfort you too)
