Raining confession - HiyWon

Normal POV
The bell rang indicated class is over.

"Come on guys, I'm hungry." Hyewon heard Yeeun who was her best friend whined from her side while facing the other two who sat behind her.

Hyewon lightly shaking her head as Yeeun rashly dragged her out of the class follow by Hiyyih and Haeun, their other two best friends.

Haeun, being her friendly self, greeted students from here and there along the way while Hiyyih lost in her own world again with earphone in her both ears.

Hyewon looked back once a while to caught a sight of Hiyyih only to see the girl ignore the outside world as always.

But little do they know, the silent girl was observing a certain bang girl with admiration.

Arriving at the canteen the four quickly made their way to the table.

"Wait here miladies, I'll get you lunch." Haeun lightly pushes Hyewon to sit when the girl was about to go get her lunch.

"Come with me buddy." Haeun quickly grabbed Hiyyih's shirt and drag her to get their lunch ignoring the protest from the latter.

After a while, Haeun and Hiyyih came back with four lunch trays for themselves and HyeEun.

"Here! Have these, Wonie." Haeun said affectionately as Hyewon could only smile brightly at her.

Hyewon quickly look at Hiyyih only to get ignored again. Hyewon pouted and digged in her food.

Hiyyih ignored her friend and just focus on her food, just then

"The cutlet is delicious. I wish the chef could give us more cutlet." Hyewon whined as she was eating her lunch.

Haeun who was about to share her cutlet to Hyewon quickly retreat when Hiyyih beat her and put some pieces of cutlet to Hyewon's plate.

"Eat this! I'm full." Hiyyih simply said.
"Naeng! Gomawo HiHi." Hyewon said and gave Hiyyih her best smile.

Haeun gave a look of disapproval before digging in her food again. Yeeun could only observe her friends knowingly.

"See you tomorrow guys." Yeeun said goodbye as she dragged Haeun away to the opposite path leaving Hyewon with Hiyyih.

Hyewon quickly follow Hiyyih as the girl quickly walk back home.

Hiyyih and Hyewon are neighbor and have been friends since they were young. They have completely different personalities, as Hyewon talk more and like a social butterfly while Hiyyih is quiet and like to spend more time with herself. Even when hanging with her friends, she would just follow along not really engage with them much.

As Hyewon and Hiyyih walk back home sky started to rain. As the rain drops hit her face, Hiyyih quickly pull Hyewon along with her to find a shelter to keep them away from the rain.

They were running and get into the near by phone booth as the front side of their uniform wet a bit already.

As they were inside the booth, Hyewon pulled out some tissues and handed to Hiyyih.

Instead of wiping herself Hiyyih reached her hand out and wipe Hyewon's forehead making the girl blush lightly at the contact.

"G-gomawo Hiyyih." Hyewon stuttering after noticing their close proximity.

"You're beautiful." Hiyyih thoughts not realizing she literally whispering it out. Thank to the rain, Hyewon barely heard it.

"Huh!? Did you say something?"
"A-ani." Hiyyih quickly replied before keeping safe distance from Hyewon.

"The rain doesn't seem to stop." Hyewon said quietly as she looked out the road.

The heavy rain keep pouring down and no sight of stopping. The two stay inside the booth silently, not until

"Let's play in the rain, Hiyyih." Hyewon putting her bag down before run off to play under the rain leaving Hiyyih behind.

*aigooo~ this girl*

Hiyyih lightly shaking her head before putting her bag down and take off her blazer and run off to cover Hyewon who were doing some dance under the rain.

"Yahhh~ you could be sick." Hiyyih sternly said to Hyewon who looked up and smile at her.

Hiyyih blinked her eyes as she lost in those smile again.

"Are you worry about me. Ms.Huening?" Hyewon playfully asked.

"A-ani. Serve you right." Hiyyih said as she release her blazer to cover Hyewon's head before starting to walk back to the booth but a voice stop her.

"I like you, Hiyyih. I don't think I can keep this feeling anymore." Hyewon shouted through the heavy rain as Hiyyih stopped on her track.

Slowly turning around and walk back to Hyewon.

"What did you just say?" Hiyyih asked as she stopped in front the shorter girl.

"I-I-I said I like you." Hyewon said with hopeful eyes.

"How about Haeun?" "Huh!?" "She likes you." Hiyyih said as she keep staring at Hyewon.

"Maybe I should like her back?" "Yah! Didn't you say you like me?" Hiyyih said obviously jealous.

"But you don't like me." "Who says?" Realizing her words Hiyyih blushed and turn around ready to walk away when a pair of arms engulf her in a back hug follow by a whisper,

"I like you idiot." Hiyyih secretly smile and turn around hugging Hyewon tightly.

"I like you more Lee Hyewon." Hiyyih finally replied the answer which Hyewon wanted to hear.

The couple happily running and playing around under the rain as they walked back home.

The next day both of them called out from school because they caught a flu.
