It was a well-know fact among the members that no matter what genres were the dance, Youngeun always perfect it. The girl had always been passionate about dancing, and today, as they started practicing for their comeback, all of them were trying to learn and adapt to their new dance steps. As practice ended, the members were told to be back to the dorm to rest.

Maybe not all of them as Youngeun found herself back to the company in late evening after going to the convenience store for some supper. She made her way to the gray background practice room again, she was eager to perfect her routine for the upcoming comeback. The corridor was quiet, until Youngeun heard a faint echoes of a familiar vocal drifting through the walls.

She paused outside one of the vocal rooms, where the sound of Kep1er's 'Vocal fairy' voice filled the space. It was soft at first, almost like a warm breeze, but as Youngeun listened, the notes became more intense, more heartfelt and she recognized the song as one of Chaehyun's role model, Kim Taeyeon, 'U R' from her solo debut EP. Like someone cursing a spell on her, Youngeun moved closer and peered through the slightly ajar door.

Sitting inside with her back facing the door, Chaehyun was alone, her eyes closed as she sang with an intensity that seemed to vibrate through the room. The lyrics were a ballad, each word dripping with emotion and sincerity. Youngeun silently stood there and watched, entranced by the way Chaehyun's voice effortlessly wove through the melody, carrying an unspoken story that seemed to resonate deeply with her own heart.

As the song reached its climax, Chaehyun's expression was a mix of vulnerability and strength. Youngeun's breath caught in her throat. She'd always known Chaehyun was talented, but witnessing this raw, unguarded moment made her heart ache with something she hadn't anticipated. She felt like she connected to whatever Chaehyun was feeling at the moment.

When the song ended, Chaehyun exhaled slowly, her shoulders relaxing as she finished the final note. Youngeun, feeling a bit awkward for eavesdropping and was about to step away when Chaehyun slowly turnaround and noticed her presence.

Chaehyun's eyes widened slightly in surprise. She stood up and walked to open the door even more and stopped in front of Youngeun, her cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and curiosity. "Oh, Youngeunie, I didn't see you there. I hope I didn't disturb you."

Youngeun, still caught in the reverie of Chaehyun's performance, slightly shook her head with a small and genuine smile spreading across her face. "Aniyo, not at all, unnie. I just... I didn't really expect you could sing like that. It was incredible."

Chaehyun's blush deepened and it's so obvious to the younger girl. *Cute* Youngeun thought.
Chaehyun looked down, a shy smile tugging at her lips. "Gomawo, Youngeun-ah. I've been practicing so hard on it."

Youngeun took a step closer, her eyes still reflecting the admiration she felt. "Well, I'm glad I could hear it. It was... beautiful. I never thought I'd hear something that could move me like that."

Chaehyun's gaze met Youngeun's, and for a moment, there was a silent exchange of emotions. Youngeun felt something shift within her—a newfound appreciation and affection that seemed to grow with every note Chaehyun had sung.

"I'm glad it touched you," Chaehyun said softly, the smile didn't leave her.
"Maybe you could stay and listen sometime? We can sing a duet too."

Youngeun's smile widened, her heart fluttering. "I'd like that. I'd really like that."

As they stood there, the quiet of the practice room enveloping them, Youngeun realized that what had begun as an ordinary day was transforming into something extraordinary. She suddenly realized that she hadn't just fallen for Chaehyun's voice.

A new chap !!!
We got much YoungChae meal for the last few days.
And I have always wanted to write ab this after that EP of Eun suggested 'U R' for Chae on that one show...

I love them and miss the nine of them a lot.
And writing is one thing that console me.
I slowly pick up my piece again so expect to see me back often (?)
