Normal POV
You were barely 6 when your family moved from Jeonju to Seoul because of your father's job. Moving from a small town to a big city, at first it was hard for you as you barely made friend with the neighbor's kids not until one fateful day.

You were sitting alone on one of the swing while looking down your feet which dig in and dig out the ground.

"Do you want some?" Said a girl as a silhouette tower over you. You looked up and found a girl who blinded by the evening sun behind her. She was handing you some sweets. You looked at her plainly without any words but she still has that toothy smile at you.

"I'm Chaehyun. Do you wanna be my friend?" She said cheerfully. And that how you made your first friend in Seoul.

You and Chaehyun were growing up together, being the best of friend as you promise to protect her always after you discover that she was just a cry baby who pretend to be tough.

Years passed and now both of you was about to enter high school. You attend the same high school and being classmate.

First day of High School
Chaehyun POV
"Come on sleepy head." I slapped Jaewon shoulder and try to drag her out of her bed.

"Seriously Chae. It's barely 7am and class won't start until 8am." She replied to me and grab her blanket to cover herself back.

I sighed, well she wasn't wrong. I'm just too excited for school that why I woke up extra early. I giggled softly to myself and patted her butt before saying,

"Well, I'll let you sleep 20mn more, JaeJae." "Whatever Chae, leave me alone." I heard her replied annoyingly.

I walked down to help her mom preparing breakfast while waiting for her.

Normal POV
As both of them walk to school Chaehyun won't stop talking as Jaewon could only listen.

"Jae, do you think we'll make new friend?"
"You will, I won't." Jaewon replied simply knowing really well because why not? Chaehyun was an 'E' and a very social butterfly. There's no one in this neighborhood who doesn't know Chaehyun. While Jaewon being an 'I' but weirdly enough she clicked well with Chaehyun. People always wonder how the two could stay together that long though.

Arriving in class Jaewon choose the last row on the far left near the window while Chaehyun chose to be on the second row in the middle.

Jaewon noticed a squirrel-like girl sat beside Chaehyun as the two get along right away.

*As expected*

"Sorry but is this seat taken?" Jaewon heard a voice beside her. As she turn her head she saw a petite girl who resemble a fennec fox standing there beside her table.

"No!?" "I'll join you here then." The girl excitedly said and took a sit beside Jaewon. Jaewon smile a bit before turning away.

Jaewon was staring out the window when she felt someone poke her. She turned to her seat mate and found her with a shy smile,

"Hi, I'm Seo Youngeun. And you?" The girl introduced herself.

"Ohhh, I'm Jaewon, Choi Jaewon." Jaewon gave out a force smile. *Chirp chirp*

Silent fill the air as only awkwardness surrounding them. Nothing can help as both of them are 'I' and making the first move doesn't have in their dictionary.

Thank god, the first class started as Jaewon and Youngeun busy themselves with their separated note.

Break time came, before the seat mate could utter a word, Chaehyun and Dayeon voice heard first.
