Valentine Special

Normal POV
Today is 14th February, it was suppose to be a day of love. Not only to lover but also to parents and friends.
But someone like Jaewon, she doesn't have anyone that special to celebrate the day with.

It doesn't matter, being an optimistic person she has a way to spend the day happily.

Waking up with a positive mind, Jaewon doing her morning routine before leaving to the place she had in mind.

Blooming Day
"Hey, Yeonie" Jaewon greeted as she walked in to her regular floral shop. Yeonie or Suyeon is a florist and she has become close with Jaewon throughout the years.

"Oh hi Jae. Your flowers are ready in a minute. Wait here!" Suyeon greeted back.

She patted Jaewon's shoulder lightly before walking to the back of the shop.

Jaewon was looking around the shop. It felt similar as she come here often.

As she looked out the shop she saw a girl was having some coffee alone at the Café across from here. The girl's beauty caught Jaewon eyes as she stared at the girls with loving eyes.

"What are you looking at?" Jaewon heard a similar voice calling her.

She looked back to the Café and the girl is no where to be found.

"Here, 50 single roses for the sweet Jae."
"So sweet that I'm still single. I know, Yeon." Jaewon said back sarcastically.

"Nice joke. Who's know? Maybe you could find your date today?" Suyeon replied while raising her brows playfully.

"How about you agreeing to be my date?"
"My girlfriend would killed both of us."
Suyeon slapped Jaewon upper arms lightly.

"Pretty girl like you deserve more than one girlfriend, y'know?" Jaewon continued and smile charmingly.

"Idoit. Make sure you mean it before you say it." This time Suyeon punched Jaewon's stomach and smirk afterward.

Jaewon gave her a silly grin and pulled Suyeon's cheek playfully.

"Here your flowers! 50,000 won!"

Jaewon pulled out some cash to pay before pulling one rose and handed to Suyeon.

"For my girl-friend. Happy Valentine's Day, cutie." Jaewon said with a sweet smile. The one she only has for Suyeon and Suyeon know perfectly that it has no romantic meaning involved.

Jaewon get out from there and walk to where her feet lead her. She arrived at the park later that evening. She walked around handed flower to random couples or families who hanging out with their loved one.

Now come to her last rose, she spotted an elderly pushing her cart with many cardboard stacked up. Jaewon half run to help her pushing the cart and dropped her home before handed her the last rose.

"You're such a sweet child. You may meet your significant other soon. Take care." The elderly lady said as she patted Jaewon's hand lightly.

Tiredly but happily Jaewon got a cup of her favorite milk tea before sitting along the hangang. She pulled out her dairy and writing.

14th February, 2022
Another single year on Valentine's Day. At least I could share the love with many people.

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Happy Valentine's Day!" As Jaewon closed her dairy a voice was heard.

She looked up and found a girl handed her a single rose. *She's the girl from the Café.*

Jaewon froze on her spot as she stared at the girl in front of her. The unknown girl sweetly smile at her.

"H-happy Valentine's Day." Jaewon stuttering replied and got the rose from her.

The girl gave her a big smile which reached her eyes one last time before walking away.

Jaewon sat there and looking at the fading figure with a silly grin.

*Maybe Suyeon is right.* Jaewon thought alone as she stared at the rose.
