Kep1er wrapped up their activities so well, maybe this is why they have earned a few days break before starting to practice again.

The tens of them decided to just stay at the dorm and have some quality times together since it has been a while for them to just hang out and maybe celebrate a little.

Mashiro, the resident chef along with Yeseo and Xiaoting went out early to buy ingredients for the food. Mashiro planned to make gratin for the youngsters again since they love it so much.

Hiyyih and Chaehyun were in charge of baking while Yujin and you were in charge of decorating and the HikaYeon duo were in charge of performance.

You were helping the leader sticking balloons to the wall and putting up other decorations not really minding your surroundings.

You were too focused on your task when you felt a stare behind your back. You turned to look at Yujin who was busy herself with her balloons. You looked around trying to find the culprit but failed. You shrugged and went back to continue your tasks.

AT THE KITCHEN

Chaehyun has just finished decorating the cake when she has the urge to look over to the living room for a certain resident teddy bear, you.

She stared at you for a while when you were about to turn around, she pretended to look around for something to do.

You and Chaehyun were known as an awkward duo in the group since both of you rarely interact.

Fan even brought up a theory that both of you are having a crush on each other that is why...

And to your surprise you saw many of the fans have shipped you with Chaehyun.

You even came across edit clips where they compiled clips of you and Chaehyun stealing glances at each other from time to time or when both of you are just simply exchanging shy smiles.

Maybe another reason to make them like you and Chaehyun together is the fact that both of you are always beside each other at the airport and any moments off-cam.

The truth is you and Chaehyun weren't awkward with each other. It's just that your social battery was too low compared to Chae. That's why you can not keep up with her sometimes. But no, the tens of you aren't just co-workers and really close to one another.

It was past midnight when Kep1er decided to call it a day. The three oldest unnies were already gone to bed after a few cans of alcohol while the youngsters are just too tired so they also bid goodbye and went to bed too.

You were cleaning up for a bit, thought you were alone when a resident white tiger walked toward you before called out,

"Want some hot choco, Jae unnie?"
You were looking up when you heard a familiar after arranging the cushions back to its place.

"Ohhh, Chaehyunie! Why are you still here? I thought you went to sleep already."

"Aniyo, I'm not sleepy yet. And I saw that you were left behind cleaning this up."

You heard her said shyly white fidgeting with the hem of her sky blue hoodie.

"Ahh, that's so sweet of you." You replied with a small smile before walking up to her.

"Why don't you go to the balcony first? I'll make hot choco for us real quick."
You told her with a light pat on her head. Chaehyun could only smile and nodded her head obediently.

Your gaze followed her figure disappearing behind the curtain to the door to the balcony before making your way to the kitchen to do your task, making your special recipe hot choco.

After finishing, you walked toward the balcony with two mugs in hands, your couple mugs with Chaehyun to be exact. The reason why you still agreed to get this couple mugs with her still remain a mystery.

Before you could go out to the balcony, you stopped by the glass door as you see Chaehyun was enjoying her time gazing at the stars with sparkling eyes and her big gummy smile.

You could not help and let out a smile of your own before making your presence known to the younger girl.

"Was the star gazing that fun? You were all smiling"

Chaehyun turned her head to you with a slight blush on her cheeks which go unnoticed by you, surprise with the sudden remarked.

"Unniee~" She whined and pouted cutely at you.

"Here your hot choco." You handed her the mug which she gladly take it before taking a sip.

"*ouchhh*" Forgetting to blow the freshly make hot choco, Chaehyun burned her tongue.

You quickly put down your mug before grabbing hers and blew on it.

You were too focused on blowing the hot choco not noticing Chaehyun's admiration gaze on you.

"Here you go!" "Gomawo unnie."

It's like a habit for you and Chaehyun is already used to it, when you do things for her. She's got used to having you around and doing things for her despite her claiming to be dependent.

You two sat there quietly enjoying stars gazing and talking about random stuff until dawn before making way to your separate room, not forgetting to tell each other to have a good sleep.

But without knowing, both of you didn't get any sleep that day, both you and Chaehyun, busying thinking about how you feel for each other but none of you have said a word about it.

I change up the plot a bit to fit the theme.
