It had seemed like Jay and I had gotten a lot closer by the end of the day. Jake didn't bother to walk up to me to have a chat that day. I felt something was off with him.

Jungwon had invited me to go to the book cafe with him again during lunch period but I apologetically had to turn down his invitation. He assured that it was fine because I kept on apologising.

“You know, I would love to chat with you more. It's a pity that we only have a few hours to have a decent conversation with each other,” Jay stated.

“Same here. Finding someone like us in real life is hard when it's not that hard in the internet,” I sighed.

“True that. Should we meet up during the weekends? We could use it to discuss more about it and even...get to know each other more, if you don't mind,” Jay reluctantly spoke.

I smiled, “I'd love that. But I'll have to ask for permissions first—”

“I could just come over to your house? That would be easier and you won't have to bother setting foot outside,” Jay grinned.

“Are you sure about that? You won't be tired?”

“I once ran around the whole block when one of my friend's brother mistook me as her boyfriend and started chasing me...traumatic memory but I learned a lot from it. So, yes, I'm sure about it.”

I laughed, instantly assuming he was referring to Youngbin and Youngjae, “If you say so. Can exchange numbers, by the way?”

“Yeah, of course. Do you have any SNS accounts?” He asked while reaching for his phone.

“Yup. Does Jake have one?” I asked, acting like I didn't memorise Jake's username a few days ago.

We were about to continue on talking when Sunghoon walked up and called for Jay, “I'm in a hurry, Jay. Let's go.”

“Ah, okay. I'll talk to you later, Emma,” Jay stood from his seat. I merely nodded and watched as he left with Sunghoon.

I turned to Jake's seat just to see that he had already left. I slightly pursed my lips before snatching my bag and heading out as well.

I hope I can get enough evidence from Jay if Jake's planning to stop talking to me. Sunghoon clearly doesn't want to have me around. I stepped outside from the building and instantly noticed a familiar car.

I was stalking Jake's account at night when Jay randomly called. I snickered in amusement before answering the call, “I thought we just bid each other goodnight a few minutes ago.”

“We did but you left me on seen and ignored my other messages. What are you doing?” He bluntly spoke.

I laughed before answering his question, “Stalking people. What about you?”

“Clearly and obviously speaking on the phone with you, what else? Let me guess, you're stalking my account.”

“Close enough. I'm actually checking out Jake's. I think he's active right now. He instantly accepted my follow request.”

“Did he follow back?”

“Eh...no.”

“That's what I thought. That guy always forgets to follow back people. I'm not even sure if he does it on purpose or not,” Jay exhaled in exasperation.

I hummed, “Maybe he doesn't know who I am?”

“Honey, your account is public and you used a cute selca of yourself as your profile picture. I'm pretty sure he knows it's you.”
