The next day, Haseena was sitting at her desk and she was continuously staring at Karishma who was busy preparing for her court case today. They will be leaving in an hour or so. She was noticing each and every moment of Karishma. She saw Karishma has placed her glasses on the bridge of her nose in the center where she usually does, not to up and not to down. A smile appeared on Haseena's face when she saw Karishma scrunching up her nose. "She must not like what is written there," She thought. Then, she saw Karishma running her hand in her hair as she sighed deeply. "She is not liking it. There must be a lot of missing information. Whoever has prepared this report, is gone?" Haseena mumbled.

Karishma cleared her throat to break the flow of Haseena's observation. "Miss Mallik, can you please call Elias," She said as she looked at Haseena momentarily and then went back to her work. "Why is she smiling so much? Did that person say yes to her? Of Course, he must have, who can deny her." She groaned internally as she saw Haseena stepping out of the cabin to call Elias.

Haseena entered with Elias, he moved towards Karishma's desk and Haseena moved towards her desk, "What were you doing while making this report? Have you verified all the details? Look this is not making sense," She pointed towards the file and while doing so she unintentionally looked at Haseena who had her head down and was working on something but she had this lingering smile that was bothering Karishma. She let Elias go with a warning and asked him to update her in fifteen minutes.

As soon as Elias left, Haseena cleared her throat, "I wanted to say thank you for last night, Miss Singh," She said while looking at Karishma who was pretending to be working but was all ears to Haseena. "It really calmed me down," she continued to stare at Karishma who wasn't looking at her.

"Hmm...," That's all Karishma uttered.

"Is something bothering you Miss Singh?" Haseena continued to observe each and every move of Karishma.

"No, Just the work pressure," She replied, still not looking at her.

"Okay!" Haseena said as she was about to go back to work when she heard Karishma's voice.

"Were you able to speak with a person last night?" She asked this time, looking at Haseena with an expressionless face.

"No, I wanted to but you were there, and you saw what happened, then I couldn't talk about it. But I will surely speak to him tonight," She said with a slight smile.

"Hmm..." Karishma muttered, "I'm happy for you, Miss Mallik." She said with a somber expression on her face as she tried to fake a smile.

"I know you are," Haseena looked at her with a plain face. "Your driver is here, Miss Singh," She said while getting up from her chair, "Let me collect all your files," She moved towards Karisham's desk.

"I'll get it," Karishma said as she walked out of the cabin after collecting her files and Haseena just followed her quietly.

They were sitting in the car, Karishma was going through her files while glancing at Haseena every now and then, however, Haseena was looking outside the window. She turned towards Karishma all of sudden as if she remembered something and found Karishma staring at her. She smiled at her but Karishma was unable to return her smile.

"There was a blizzard warning tonight after 4:00 PM. I forgot to tell you earlier. Do you think we will be done before that?" Haseena asked in a concerned tone.

"If we are not done on time, I have a cabin within walking distance from the court, we can stay there for a night," Karishma said as she went to her files, once again.
