Daughter of Death (Soul Eater FanFiction)

Lord Death ran as fast as he could. He needed to get his only daughter from her mother before she was killed. 

'Don't worry Lena, I'm coming!' he thought to himself as he flew into the sky following the running mother. He caught up and stopped in front of the witch, who held his daughter. 

"It's over Arachnae! Hand over the child!" he yelled viciously at her. But Arachnae just laughed. It was then that Lord Death noticed that Arachnae's hand was glowing a light purple. She was casting a spell on her own child! 

Lord Death ran at her but it was too late. One minute she was there with Lena crying in her arms and the next, she was gone and Lena was falling. Lord Death dived and managed to catch the crying baby in his large hands. 

Kid ran up to them, worried about his little sister. 

"D-Dad... her soul..." he whispered. That was enough to terrify Lord Death. 

"What about her soul!?" he shouted, worried. 

"Arachnae... made her a witch..." he responded. Lord Death was furious. 

He sighed and stood up, holding the small baby in his large hands. He took off and flew home, Kid following on his Beezlebub behind him. 

He would need to kill Arachnae for the spell to be broken. Or else a Meister will kill his child and a Weapon will eat her soul. 

He didn't want to loose his only daughter... He asked his old friend, Maba, head of the Witch Order, to cast a Soul Protect spell on his daughter. And only she could remove it. He hoped that this would keep his daughter safe... 

She was the only hope left...
