Soon, everyone was paired and the ball could finally begin. Music was playing and some Weapons were dancing with their Meister's. Except me. I was alone on the balcony thinking. It was a clear sky with the moonlight shining down on me. It was known as Deaths Light. I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Kid.
"You O.K. Lena?" he asked me. I nodded.
"I'm fine. Just needed a while alone." I assured him.
"Where's Alec?" he questioned. I shrugged.
"Probably getting some punch. Or food." I said with a slight giggle. Kid nodded.
"Well, let me know if you need anything O.K. Lena?" I nodded and watched him walk away back into the ball.
I turned back to the moon and looked up at it. The way it shone at night was amazing. It would be a really romantic setting for a picnic in the moonlight.
I closed my eyes and imagined myself in a field of black and red roses, waiting for the right person. I heard a voice call to me. I began turning until I was snapped out of my daydream by someone really calling my name.
I turned and saw Alec standing there, his jacket over his shoulder. I looked at him and he stared back at me, the wind blowing to the East, with my hair blowing to the right. We stared at each other for a minute. Then, Alec moved his stare away from mine.
"S-sorry..." he apologised.
"I-its ok..." I responded, looking down and turning back to the moon.
The wind began to pick up and I shivered, hugging myself. Alec noticed and walked over to me. I felt the warmth of his jacket come around my shoulders and his hands stayed there. I took a single step backwards, stepping into his arms.
I felt his hands moves down my arms and wrap around my waist, holding me in a warm embrace. I smiled and lay back with my head on his chest. I felt his own head lay on mine and he started to rock side to side, in time with the music from inside. I smiled and turned, placing my hands on his shoulders as his own remained on my waist. He started leading and I followed his lead.
He spun me out, keeping my small hand in his larger one and he pulled me back in, but I stood on the bottom of my dress and tripped, falling.
Before I could hit the ground, I felt Alec's strong arm on my back and his hand on my waist, holding me up and my reflexes sent my hands to his chest. I looked up at Alec and saw him grinning. I smiled back, blushing.
Accidentally, I made eye contact with him and we stared into each others eyes. I felt his arm pull me closer and blushed deeper. My hands moves up and my arms looped around his neck. He was pulling me, closer and closer. My eyes slowly began to close. I felt his lips on mine and my heart went insane. It was beating like crazy.
Reluctantly, I kissed back. He smiled into the kiss and pulled me closer. I kept my arms wrapped around him until he broke the kiss, out of breath. I breathed heavily and smiled at him. He smiled back.
"Wanna go home?" he asked me. I nodded and he put his arm around me, leading me away from the crowd.
"You know we will need to move in together, right?" I reminded him.
"I know. We can stay at my place if you want? Even just for tonight?" he offered.
"Thanks but it might be easier if I moved in. My brother can be a bit annoying." I giggled. He laughed and started leading me in a different direction, to his own home. I still had his jacket on me and loved the warmth of it. He stopped outside a mansion and unlocked the door, leading me inside.
"I'll show you to your room." he said, walking up the stairs. I held up the end of my dress and followed. He opened a large door and led me inside. Inside, was a four poster bed, a desk at a window, a door to the balcony, a Onyx and Rubie chandelier, an entire wall of books and another door. I opened the other door and saw a walk in wardrobe filled with girls clothes. I looked at Alec.
"I was expecting a female partner so I got some girl clothes for you." he told me. I smiled and looked in the wardrobe. Each large rack was labeled. 'Formal Gowns', 'Casual Clothes', 'Mission Gear' and 'Sleep Wear'. I smiled and walked out of the warbrode.
"Like it?" Alec questioned. I nodded and hugged him. He hugged back and soon we broke apart. I picked out something to sleep in. "If you need anything just call me, O.K.?" he said. I nodded and watched him leave.
I changed into my sleep wear. A blue sleeveless top and a pair of football shorts that were a bit small. I sighed happily and got into the bed. I sent Kid a quick text saying I was safe and with Alec for the night.
After he text back to say that it was alright, I turned off my phone and lay my head on the pillow, falling asleep.

So anyway, sorry for the short chapters, like I said, Im new so don't judge. Also, I know I said I would update every Friday but I got this done ealy so its really gonna be whenever I finish the chapter, I'll upload it either that day or the day after. Sorry about that. Love you all
