Chapter 10: The Meal: A night to remember?

*Saturday night*

Eventually we were all in the limo on the way to Luigi Malone's for dinner. I was wearing a black dress with a fishtail skirt that clung to my body perfectly, with black shoes with sequins and my hair was in a bun with a loose strand on each side of my face to shape it. My make-up was done to give me blood red lips and black eye shadow and black eye liner. It was my Gothic day so I was good. 

Alec was wearing his neatly pressed black tux with black shoes and his hair gelled into a comb over. For once his hair was neat. About time he did that. I smiled at him and he held my hand. 

Zoe was wearing her blue dress that came just above her knees with navy roses made from lace and her blue high heels with her hair down with curls and oceanic makeup. 

James was wearing a white tux with his blue shoes and his hair gelled back. 

Kniomi was in a hot pink dress that came half way down the bottom of her legs, red heels and her hair straightened and down with her make up providing pink lips and red eye shadow and eyeliner. 

Evan was wearing his black tux and for once his hair was flat and messy like Alec's normally would be. The Soul Eater gang were wearing the clothes for the ball. 

There were two strangers in the car, both boys. One was tall with his hair nicely in a quiff and wearing a black tux. I took a sneak peak at his soul. Weapon. And the other boy was a Meister. They looked like they were partners. I looked at the other boy. 

He was a bit shorter than the other but his wavelength was strong. His hair was blonde and combed to the side neatly out of his face and he was wearing a white tux. Black Star saw me looking at them. 

"Lena, this is Gavin, a Weapon and his partner, Jack. Their friends of mine and they asked if they could tag along so I said yes. Guys, this is Lena Reaper, Kids baby sister." he said. 

"Hey! I'm not a baby! I'm freaking 15!" I yelled at him. Everyone laughed at me. 

"Its nice to meet you Lena." Gavin said with a smile. I smiled back. Jack remind silent but he nodded to me. I smiled back at him. I wonder why he never spoke. He must have been very shy. 

I held Alec's hand in mine and smiled. He returned the smile and started talking to Evan, James, Soul and Black Star. Kid was explaining symmetry again to Liz and Patty for the millionth time, Maka was talking to Tsubacki and Gavin was talking to Jack. I decided to talk to Zoe and Kniomi. 

"Honestly Kniomi, Luigi Malone's is just amazing. Me and Lena were there for my 12th birthday party and the food is just gorgeous. And its where Lena got her first kiss." Zoe said with a giggle. 

"Hey! I was 11 and he was cute. He was sweet too. Besides, you didn't get your first kiss until you turned 15!" I exclaimed. We all giggled and soon we were at Luigi Malone's. 

The building was bigger than I remembered with a bit more design but I bet the food was still good. I got out of the limo with the others and went inside. 

"Reservation for Star please?" Black Star said, actually politely for a change. 

"Of course sir. This way." the waitress said and led us down a flight of stairs which was also new. We all followed her and we saw a large table with 15 chairs laid out. 

"Here you are. I'll be back in a moment with your menu's." the waitress said and walked back up the stairs. 

We all took our seats beside our partners, Black Star at the head of the table. I was sitting between Gavin and Alec, which was a little awkward. Hopefully it will get better than this.

*Two Hours later: the end of the meal*

I was very giddy. The dessert was only fabulous. Black Forest cake with cherry's and dark chocolate. Beautiful but very heavy. I stood from my seat and everyone looked at me. 

"I'm just going upstairs for some fresh air." I told them. They all nodded and I walked back up the stairs. The waitress looked at me. 

"Just some fresh air." I told her. 

"Of course. There is a balcony upstairs if you would like to go up there?" she offered. I thanked her and went up the stairs, walking onto the balcony, the cool breeze helping me relax. I wasn't as hyper as before, just a little now. 

"I never got around to saying how beautiful you look Lena." a voice from behind me said. I jumped and spun to face the person, realizing it was only Gavin. I sighed with relief. 

"Thank you for the compliment and the mini heart attack!" I exclaimed with a hint of sarcasm. I had my hand on my chest where my heart would be and was breathing heavily. He chuckled a bit. 

"Sorry." he said, meaning in his voice. I smiled and told him it was alright. Eventually we were just standing on the balcony together, talking. 

Soon Alec came out and told me it was time to go. I gave Gavin a quick hug and left, Alec's hand in mine. He led me to the hotel we were staying in and brought us up to the penthouse. 

Everyone was chilling in the living room so Alec and I decided to sit upstairs. I turned on the TV and put on the music channel, keeping it down. I opened my bag and took my pajamas out, going into the bathroom to change. 

By the time I came back out, Alec was in bed wearing his pajamas too. I lay next to him and cuddled up to him, his arm wrapping around my shoulders. We lay like that for a few hours. 

'I will never forget this night' I thought to myself as I was falling asleep. 'It really was a night to remember...'
