It was time. It had been a year since Asura had proposed to me. And now the day arrived for us to be bound together forever. I was ready to get married.

I had already chosen my Bridesmaids. Unfortunately Kniomi was on a mission that day with Evan and had to cancel on us last minute. But I still had Zoe, Maka, Tsubacki, Liz and Patty. I chose Zoe as my Maid of Honor since she was there for me through everything since we were little kids. And she was the first to support me when I told everyone about my relationship with Asura.

The bridesmaids all wore deep red dresses with a lace neckline that came around their collar bones and a skirt that fell around their ankles. We had all agreed to keep the bridesmaids simple so they wouldn't be too flashy. My dress however? It was a bit more... Complicated.

My dress was completely white. I had decided to keep to tradition. The dress was a long skirt that brushed against the floor with a long train at the back with sequins at the end. The torso had the Reaper symbol in diamonds and a sweetheart neckline. I wore detached sleeves that came from the center of my forearm to my wrist with a small loop to go around my middle finger. My heels were silver and honestly, painfully high.

My make-up was simple and natural with just mascara, eyeliner and light pink lip gloss. For my hair, the sides were pinned back to make small braids to keep the back of my hair in place. My bangs in front of my eye were pinned away for the first time in years, revealing my scar. It was ironic that I was marrying the guy who gave me that scar.

Kid was doing the finishing touches. Father had made a special head piece with a veil attached. The piece was silver and sat at the top of where the two side braids joined. The veil tucked in under the braids and fell around my waist, a second section covering my face. I smiled. Finally, everyone was ready.

My father went overboard with preparations and insisted that we held the ceremony in the school. He even got a flying car so I wouldn't need to walk up all the stairs.

Once we reached the school, I was made sit in the car while all the guests went inside. I saw Asura wearing a tux with a red tie to match the color theme. I smiled. If anyone asked me when I first joined the school if I would marry a Kishin, I would have called them completely insane. And here I was, a DWMA graduate, a Death Scythe, about to be married to who was once the most dangerous person in the world. The irony of it all.

Soon, it was time to get out of the car. My father opened the door for me and helped me out of the car, making sure the veil or train of my dress didn't get caught in the door. I smiled at him and even with his mask, I could tell he was smiling back at me.

"No objections at all?" I questioned him.

"Not one," he replied. "Just a regret for not listening to you sooner."

"It's fine dad. If I had a daughter who fell in love with my biggest enemy, I'd be the exact same."

"I guess every parent worries about their children from time to time."

"You never stopped worrying about me!"

We both laughed. It was true but he didn't think I knew that.

"Ready to get married?" he asked me.

"Yes." I responded.

The doors to the school opened and my father led me to the main hall, where the ceremony would take place. I heard music playing and I started walking down the aisle. I smiled to see Soul was playing piano. He was a good pianist. I looked at Asura and his jaw dropped as he looked at me. Kid was his best man and started patting his back. That was when I noticed something unusual...
