I kept running beside Kid. At first I was doing this for pay back on Alec. But my aims have changed. I was doing this for Gavin. Seeing him getting injured to protect me was more than I could possible bear.

When he tried to comfort me after Alec's betrayal, something happened inside me. I didn't know what it was. I sighed while running. I kept my beezlebub deactivated so I could regain the energy in my legs. Kid looked over his shoulder at me.

"Lena? What's wrong?" he asked me, worry obvious in his voice.

"Its nothing Kid!" I assured him with my best fake smile. He smiled back and drew his attention back to the path in front of us. But something was wrong. I got the feeling this was all my fault for some reason.

As we were running, I could smell the familiar minty breath mixed with a bit of bread. Alec was nearby. I ran faster. Faster than I had ever ran before. I needed to get my revenge on Alec.

"Kid, you keep running! I'll take care of Alec!" I called over my shoulder to him.

"Right!" he answered before flying past me at full speed. I skid to a halt and looked around me.

I waited. I slowly started walking deeper into the cavern, the smell getting stronger. He was close. I could feel his presence. It was as if he was right behind me.

I turned my entire body quickly to the way I came. No one was there. 'That's strange,' I thought. 'I could have sworn he was right behind me.' I barely finished the sentence in my mind before I felt a set of hands grip me in an arm lock, one hand holding both my wrists and holding me close.

I struggled, until I felt a blade against my throat. I stopped struggling and stiffened.

"Hello Lena. Miss me?" his raspy voice whispered in my ear. I shuddered at his cool breath against my skin. I heard him chuckle in my ear. "I'll take that as a yes then babe. After all, who wouldn't miss me? Your aunt obviously did." he said. His breath was tingling my skin. But I didn't dare show it. Instead, I decided to answer him.

"Why would I miss someone who betrayed me?" I almost yelled. But I knew that if I yelled, Erica and Free would hear me and know Kid was close. I needed to stay calm about this. "You made me think I loved you just so you could have easy access to the academy. But when Medusa showed her true colors, you did too. You were in league with the witches this entire time weren't you?"

"Of course not. I was in league with the wolf man. So when he joined the witches, I had no choice but to do so as well. It was Medusa who set him free. Hence the name, Free. She made me her personal spy." he answered, no longer whispering. But his voice was dark. I knew what he really was now. He was a monster.

Before he could say any more, I grabbed the arm he was holding the knife with and flipped him over my head, slamming him onto the floor and earning a cut on the cheek. He spun onto his stomach and grabbed my ankle, tripping me and making me fall to the floor. I cried out as I fell, hitting the stone floor, hard.

He rolled so he was on top of me, one knee on either side of me and gripped my legs with his, holding them down and holding my two wrists above my head in his large hand.

I could feel him spinning the blade on my chest. But it wasn't cutting. My shirt was making sure of that. My shirt was practically leather so I was fine. But I pretended to be in pain.

When he lifted the knife from my chest and through it to the side, happy with the 'pain' he had caused me, I smacked him in the face with my forehead. He cried out in pain as I heard an all too familiar crunching sound. I had broken his nose.

I threw him off me with such force that he rolled across the floor and into the pillar. I got up and looked at him. He wasn't going to get up any time soon. As I turned to walk away, his voice rang in my ears.

"Lena... I wouldn't go into the Kishins cell if I was you." He warned me. I looked at him, confused. He smirked and continued. "When your mother, Arachnae, cursed you as a mere child, she cursed you so that if you entered the Kishins cell, he will automatically awaken. He has black blood inside him. It just hasn't woken. If you enter that cell, he will wake. Let that be a warning. Stop now before you get yourself killed. Cause your soul will be his first target."

Silently, I marched my way over to him and crouched down to his level.

"I'll take my chances, Alec. And I won't get killed. Remember that." I said before I punched him in the head to knock him out. I then stood and kept running

As I ran, I saw a very asymmetrical mess. How Kid got through there, I didn't know. And I wasn't sure I would want to know how. Maybe Patty had to do the 'Face' on him just to scare him. I laughed at the thought.

I kept running and soon heard gun shots and blades slicing through the air. Black Star must have gotten ahead of me and joined the fight with Kid. The only thing that scared me is if what Alec said was true. Would I be the one to revive Asura? Am I Asura's real reviver?
