Background information on my Elemental world

First Draft of the Book | Somehow

Warning- This is not edited and horrible.

The chapters are so short all five of them wouldn't even equal to one of my chapters in Elemental Spy. There's so little one chapter wouldn't even fill a page.

And no it was not planned, and still somehow this book was how I knew I wanted to be a writer.

I will not be continuing this book, and never will, but I just thought you'd like to see it.

And yes the name Ashley comes up in my books a lot, you'll probably see an Ashley in all the books a write.

Chapter 1
              
How I became a mermaid

One day, I was on the beach walking along a path when I saw a glowing light. I thought it was very beautiful with its awesome colors and dazzling light shining on the beach. Then I touched it not knowing what I was doing. then in light speed I was gone. When I awoke I was in the water of the beach, not knowing how I got there. I freaked out. I did not know what to do. When I distressed the air in my mouth flu I couldn't breathe. I tried yelling and screaming but that didn't work I tried swimming to the top but I was deep in the water. The salt water stinging in my eyes. Then I fainted. I dreamt of dreams in my dreams I was a mermaid I never dreamt of mermaid before so I don't know why I was doing that now. In the most awesome mermaid dream I ever had I was flowing through water like a fish it was amazingly crazy but totally amazing. After my awesome dream I went back in lightspeed. This time I was on the beach not in the water. Amazed at all the things that happened in just a few minutes. Anyway I went back in light speed but again not knowing why. Then I woke up. But the crazy part is I wasn't on the beach or  the water I was in my bed in my own house smelling bacon. It was a dream I thought sadly. What I dreamt did not happen. I went into the kitchen my plate was there for me with bacon, eggs, and grits after I had eaten I thought of the dream. wondering how could this all happened. I checked my Planner, Today was the day that my best friend Ashley invited me over. I was really excited. She had invited me to come in her pool. I was really happy about that because my parents didn't have a pool so it was kinda hard to swim. I did have a beach close by but it wasn't always where I wanted to swim. I told my mom I was going to  Ashley's house.
"Ok bye honey"
I gave my mom a kiss and went out the door. Happily I walked to Ashley's house. I got to her house and knocked on the door. It took a couple seconds but finally she let me in. Excitedly we both hug each other. She told me to come in and of course I Did. We went to her room and talked for a while. Then we went downstairs out onto the porch. I had already had my swimsuit. She has not put her swimsuit on yet. She went back inside. When she came out she was in a beautiful swimsuit ruffles hearts rainbow-ish and purple. We had gotten into the pool. But then my head started to feel really dizzy. Then 10 seconds later my feet and legs had joined together. I had freaked out and when I Did Ashley started freaking out to, asking what happened. Then my legs turned aquamarine. Ashley had looked down seeing what Had happen she had freaked out some more. We were both wondering what was happening. Then my feet had stretched out into a fin. Then I realized what was going on that was why all those dreams last night had happened they were the future and reality. Even though I was excited inside I was afraid of what might happen I was afraid I'd be stuck like this forever. I was a mermaid. My friend looked at me amazed. She had asked if I had known before I had told her no because that was the truth. I had gotten out of the water trying to figure out if that would help, it had after only 10 minutes I was dry and tail free. I said goodbye to Ashley and then one out of the house walking to my own. When I went home my mom had asked why I was home so early I had told her that Ashley's dad had told her to do her chores. My mom had believed me she always does when I say something about chores.
Then she said "speaking of chores I need you to do the dishes".
I had realized I should've never brought up chores. I had done the dishes I know what you mean diary why would I be sad about the dishes? Well here's your answer I hate the dishes I hate putting away my dish after dinner and everything to do with dishes. Now that you have your explanation I have to go to bed. I will leave you for one night and wake up in the morning and see you again.
