Milk Cookie spotted a large shape in the distance, many cookies behind him and Purple Yam Cookie. As the shape approaches Milk Cookie could make out Dark Choco Cookie and Dark Cacao Cookie in front of what seemed to be dozens of other cookies.

Milk ran through the snow and threw his arms around Dark Choco who seemed to melt in his arms, like all the stiffness of his body had gone away and he could finally relax, knowing he had saved many cookies, knowing that he could change for the better, to be the cookie he once was.

The tender moment was interrupted by a large crash. Monsters from in the licorice sea had crumbled the walls protecting the Dark Cacao Kingdom from its wrath. Cookies panicked, watching their homes, shops, schools, and even the black citadel crumble. Dark Cacao led them up a nearby mountain.

Once the cookies had reached the top, many cried, others were simply perplexed, most couldn't bear to watch, as the sea swallowed the kingdom, they had called home.

Dark Choco Cookie hugged Milk Cookie tightly, a gesture that was returned. Milk Cookie mustered up the courage to kiss the other cookie, a short and simple act that Dark Choco reciprocated, but didn't pull away quite as fast.

The kiss was cut off by a cry for help coming from in the sea. It came from none other than Purple Yam Cookie, who then started to sink and crumble from the liquid surrounding him. Dark Choco Cookie split from the others and sprinted down the mountain.

He dove into the sea in search of Purple Yam Cookie. The two had never liked each other, in fact they hated each other, but he was Milk Cookie's friend. He knew he had to do what was right. He finally found the almost entirely crumbled cookie and spotted a nearby roll cake log, floating in the sea. He pushed the cookie on top of the log and started swimming towards the shore.

Dark Choco Cookie started to feel weak, he was becoming soggy, and some of him had started to crumble. Feeling his strength fading he looked towards the shore to see Milk Cookie standing there, calling out to him. Dark Choco couldn't hear him but he gave the log the hardest push he could, given his circumstance.

He felt his body begin to crumble, he looked over to Milk Cookie, who had caught the log and was tending to Purple Yam Cookie. Milk looked up, expecting Dark Choco to be swimming over but instead he saw the cookie begin to sink. Tears streamed down the two cookies faces as they looked each other in the eyes for the last time.

Before he was consumed by the licorice sea, Dark Choco Cookie uttered two words. Two words he knew no one else could hear, but Milk Cookie could read his lips.

"Thank You."
