Nginitian ko si Aling Pilar na kanina pa inaayos ang kulot ng buhok ko. It's still pretty early but knowing my Mother we need to be an early bird! Especially that it's her and Auntie Carmela who arranged the party.
"I'm sorry, Aling Pilar, ha? Take your time po," I pouted. Tumango siya't inilagay ang isa pang pin na mayroong pink flower on my hair. It's in a bun now. But, she braided it first before putting it in a bun.
May mga takas na buhok sa gilid, 'yon ang inaayos niya ang kulot. I gave her a sweet smile. I touched my diamond necklace and took a deep breath.
"Ayan.. Ang ganda-ganda mo talaga, Norine!" sabi niya.
"Thank you!" I giggled. Tumayo na ako't niyakap siya bago ako tuluyang tumakbo pababa para 'di ako pagalitan ni Mommy. I held the ends of my tea length peach dress and smiled to my parents.
"Careful," ani Mommy.
"I'm here!" I gasped for air and pulled the strap of my purse back to my blades.
Tumango siya. I snaked my arms on hers and we eventually took our leave. I texted Criane and she said that they're there already. Hindi kami nakakapag-usap masyado so I'm so happy to be meeting her tonight!
I grinned and typed in a chat for Kyne.

I tapped my feet on the ground and waited for his response. Ilang minuto ang lumipas naramdaman ko na rin ang pag-vibrate ng phone ko. Mom and Dad kept on talking about some business deals and I wasn't just interested.

I thinned my lips to suppress my chuckles. Sa puntong 'to hindi na ako nahihiya kay Kyne. Siya na nga lang ang nahihiya sa mga sinasabi ko sa kaniya. It became normal for me to send him korni jokes.. I think tanggap naman niya because he doesn't tell me to stop!
