"What's up? We just knocked you out, and you ask WHAT'S UP??" Ace yelled comically. I held my head in pain at the loud shout.

"Oh, you knocked me out?" I questioned, causing him to face-palm.

"(Y- Y/N)... I'm sorry, I didn't think my magic would send you across too-" Deuce apologized.

"Oh nah BB, that wasn't u lmao," I responded, continuing to rub my head.

"Huh?" He was genuinely shocked as Ace looked away nervously and rubbed his neck, knowing it was his fault.

Everyone slowly looked at the sweaty boy.

"I- I can explain!" He defended himself quickly.

"Dumbarse," I mumbled. "I don't need an explanation, I need an apology!"

    "I apologize-!"

"Your face looks like anything but apologetic-"

"Don't get off topic!" Crowley scolded. "There is one way to repel your expulsion... The magic crystal for this chandelier was mined in the Dwarfs' Mine. So..."

"So if we can manage to get a magic crystal that's similar to the original..."

"Correct, (Y/N). Then, repairs may be possible."

"Then I will go find a magic crystal!" Deuce claimed, "please allow me to go!"

"However! I have no guarantee that there are any left in the mine," Sir Gracious stated, "it's been closed for a while..."

Is the monster the reason it's closed off? The Dwarfs that used to live there though... I never met them, but I hope they're alright.

"I'll do anything to get the expulsion rescinded," Deuce said. You sure about that, buddy?

"... Fine. I shall give you one night," the Headmaster offered, "come to me with a magic crystal by tomorrow morning, or face expulsion."

"Okay, okay, old man we get it," I sighed.

    "Hush!" He commanded.

"Th- thank you very much Headmaster, Sir!" Deuce thanked him. I honestly felt really bad for him. Knowing his backstory-ish makes this worse.

"Uwahh, I suppose we could just go get that crystal and be done with it..." Ace sighed.

"You may use the Gate in the Mirror Chamber to go directly to the mine," he crossed his arms. "(Y/N), would you like to head to the infirmary instead?"

"No Sir, I'll be OK," I hastily answered. I didn't want to miss the actual plot. Besides, I'm pretty sure the MC helps the defeat the monster with some sort of plan, so...

"Are you sure...? Ahem, alright then."

"Hah...? What did I miss...?" Grimm asked as he... woke up...? Since when did he fall unconscious anyway?

Thinking back and recalling my memory, Grimm took a big toll from the fall just as I did, but he somehow was conscious while I wasn't. But then when I'd woken up, his stress or adrenaline... or whatever it was, wore off and his body decided to take a break. Interesting... or maybe I'm making things up.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

"Grimm... we've got more work to do, buddy," I said as I rubbed his ear.
