As I walked in, all I heard was screaming, laughter, and the piano playing.  I shook my head not worried one bit because I knew this is how chorus people are, crazy and squeaky if you're a soprano.  Sopranos sing the highest and that's what Krisite, Megan and  I are so it worked out perfectly.  Altos sing lower then the sopranos, tenors even lower then the altos and bases well they're the lowest of them all.  It's pretty hilarious seeing them trying to hit our notes and we trying to sing that low.

"Good morning Lolita, you're actually on time."  Our chorus teacher, Mr. Bernard smirked at me.  I was even shocked my self.

"I know I just wanted to be early today and from now on because..."  I couldn't say it, if I did then I would've started crying and I can't do that cause then my mascara would run down my face.  Kristie and Megan were immeaditely at my side.

"What's wrong?" Asked Kristie.  I took another deep breath and told them the news.

"In..two weeks my family and I are moving to Seattle."  There I said it.  I felt water in my eyes and  wiped them dry carefully with my sleeve.  I saw the two of them looked at eachother and then they both tackled me into a bear hug.

"No! we're supposed to be the three musketeers!" Said Megan, nearly chocking me she's hugging me so tight.

"What about the summer? and we always hang out every friday always."  Said Kristie, looking like she's about to cry too.  I looked at the clock and sighed, we had five minutes to get to class before the bell rings.

"Promise me we'll talk at least twice a week."  I said, feeling thankful that I'm not leaving for another two weeks.

"We promise. and you have oovoo right?" Asked Megan.

"Yeah I do."  I said.

"Come on guys we better get to class."  Kristie said.

"Woo I get to go to art!!"  I used to hate art but honestly, this class helped me open my eyes a lot, especially when you have a really good teacher.

"What are you guys making?" Asked Megan as she walked with me to class.

"Right now we're doing a portrait drawing.  It's actually not that bad, considering it's me."  I laughed.  I really couldn't draw for my life, but it is looking like a pretty good face.  It's amazing what shading can do to a picture.

"Hey you can't help being a spazz."  Said Megan sticking her tounge at me.  I stuck mine at her back.  It's childish I know but we do it all the time.  As I walked into the art room the bell just made it.  I gave myself a sigh of relief.  I took my usual seat next to my sophmore buddies Amanda and Jen.  Amanda is really sweet and Jen is the kind of person that will kick your'e ass if you get on her bad side.  She and I always joke about it.  My art teacher, Mrs. Kowatnz asked the class for our attention.

"We will finish our portrait drawings today, so use you're time wisely."  Said Mrs. Kowantz.  She's really sweet if you're attendance is good and you do you're best.  But if you act like a immature jerk then she gets mad which is totally reasonable.

"So how was you're weekend?"  Jen asked.

"Pretty good, I found out that I'm moving to Seattle in two weeks though."  I said sadly.

"What?!"  Said Jen her eyes widening.

"I know, I'm pretty bumbed about it."  I said.

"Seattle isn't so bad though.  I heard it's a beautiful city."  Said Jen trying to cheer me up.

"Yeah I know I'm really excited, I just won't feel the same knowing the ocean isn't near me."  I said, feeling sad.

"You need to come and visit us as much as you can."  Said Jen.

"I know, I totally will.  Once I get a steady job I'm getting on a plane and staying here for a week."  I said determination in my voice.  We laughed until we worked on our portrait drawings till the end of class.  Second and third period flew by and then finally I was heading right back to the chorus room. I smiled to myself, I always looked forward to chorus the end of the day.  It's the perfect way to end it.

"I want you guys to find the time signature, and do arrows!!"  Said Mr. Bernard.  I sighed and went up to the board to copy the staff, making sure I put the notes in the right places of the lines.  MY heart stopped for a minute beacuse I felt someone hugging me behind.

"Jesus Austin  you scared me!!"  I said laughing.  Austin is our freshman buddy, and he is extremley funny.

"Kristie and Megan told me you we're moving to Seattle."  Said Austin looking sad.  This was such a depressing day.

"I know..." I said focusing on my work so I wouldn't start crying.

"Everyone go to the auditorium!"  Said Mr. Bernard.  Yes singing time, I said to myself.  One of the reasons why I love singing so much is beacause it takes my mind off of thngs especially if us sopranao ones are trying to sing a high note.  I love those notes.  We ran to the auditorium and got into our positions.  There is this one song that we started learning and it has a extremely high note.

"Use you're head voices sopranos you sound like dying mice."  Mr. Bernard said, irritation in his voice.  We tried again and I was just about to make it when I yawned then I started alughing because I yawened.  Krisite and Megan started cracking up.

"Darn it I would've had it too!!" I said laughing hysterically.

"Next time, control you're yawns Lolita."  Mr. Bernard said making us laugh even more.

"Sorry, Mr. Bernard."  I tried to get out while laughing hysterically.  We kept singing until the bell rang for dismissal.  Before I was about to leave, Kristie and Megan stopped me.

"Us three has to do something every Friday and Saturday until you leave and each time it has to be different."  Said Krisite.

"Sign the contract, we already did."  Said Megan handing it to me.  I smiled and after I signed it, we gave each other one last bear hug for the day.
