Kristie's POV

I am dreading this day.  This is going to be the first day like, ever when it will only be Megan and I.  It won't be right, the only days that  there is only two of us is when well, one of us is absent from school.  It would be much worse though, if Lolita had to move in the beginning of our senior year.  I don't even want to think about how Megan and I would react to that.  This is why I love driving to school.  Especially when I have a late in, I love driving because it gives me time to think.  I finally pulled into the High School's parking lot and slowley made my way in to the school.  I'm really not that much of a morning person but according to Lolita, getting up at ten is early.  There I go thinking again, jeez this is going to be harder then I thought.  I sighed as I opened the door to the Chorus room seeing Mr. Bernard playing the paino probably working on a new song for us to learn.  I saw Megan by her drawer and I noticed she had a melancholy expression on her face.  She saw me walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"I miss her."  Said Megan.  I swear I think she's crying a little bit.  Megan hardly ever cries, we are both very similar that way, and were awesome at being sarcastic which Lolita was never quite good at.

"I know, Lolita would make our day didn't she? Not catching on until like five minutes later that we were messing with her."

"Stop I hate crying in front of people, I don't like crying in general."  Said Megan making uis both smirk.

"I have got to message Lolita on facebook and tell her that not only you are crying but I'M actually crying."  I said.

"Yes, I'm sure she would enjoy that."  Said Megan.  All of the sudden Mr. Bernard looked up from his piano.

"Why is it quiet in here?"  Mr. Bernard asked, looking dissapointed.  Mr. Bernard is the tyoe of person who is not that sensitive and he looks bummed.  I mean he was focusing on his music and he looked up realizing it was quiter then usual.  Which is true the chorus room will not be the same anymore without her.  Megan and I looked at each other.

Megan's POV

As I looked at Kristie, I noticed her eyes started watering up again so even though I knew that if I said something I would also start crying I figured I'd give the poor girl a break.

"It's almost five after seven, Lolita is usually here buy now."

"Mr. Bernard, Lolita had to move to Seattle remember?"  I asked, almost afraid by his reaction.  This was not a good day, I wouldn't exactly call myself a sensitive person but these are one of those times when an exception has to be made.

"Oh...yeah."  Said our chorus teacher and he looked back down at his piano trying to start playing again.  This is going to be a long couple of weeks.  I looked at the clock and realized the bell was going to ring in about four minutes.

"Come on, Kristie lets go to child care."  I said putting my arm through hers.  We walked out of the chorus room together and made our way towards the child care class room.  Even the bright colors on the walls couldn't cheer us up.  We're meeting the kids today, I realized which didn't do much.  We took our seats, got our lesson plans together and put on our most believable smiles for when the kids came.  A few minutes later all I can hear down the hallway is screaming and running.  I sighed and looked at Kristie.

"You ready?"

"I'll have to be."  Said Kristie.  Just then a little boy who is three years old, with blond curly hair and brown eyes came running to me nearly tackling me to the ground.  That would be Andrew.

"There is no way Lolita could have handled this class much longer."  Krisite said trying to make everything seem lighter then it is.  She is just that type of person who tries to always look at the positive side of things.  As Krisitie said that, a little girl with brown straight hair and blue eyes came running to Krisite next.  Jenna.

"Where is Loita? I made something for her."  Asked Jenna her smile fading.

Kristie's POV

Could this day possibly get any worse?  It's one thing to see one of you're most strict teachers look sad SAD mind you and according to our whole chorus class Mr. Bernard isn't supposed to have a soul.  Well I guess Lolita proved that wrong.  I decided I'd answer this one for Megan since she did stick up for me the last time.

"Lolita had to go somewhere with her family sweetie."  I said.

"Is she coming back?"  Jenna asked, her lip quivering.  Oh my God this cannot be happening to me.  Pull it together Kristie pull it together.

"No I'm afraid she is not but she will come back to visit I'm sure."  I said, suddenly feeling worried.  Lolita won't forget about us will she?
