Kris tie's POV

I was driving in my car. I pulled up into a parking lot of seven eleven. I got out of my car, locked the doors, and pulled the door opened. As the door opened I heard a "ding". I kinda liked the sound. But if I was working at that place with the bell going off every five minutes it would eventually get me pissed off. It's about eight at night. You're probably wondering why I'm at a seven eleven at night. I was on my way home from dance when I had a sudden craving for Arnold Palmer. I went in to the section of the soft drinks and I braced myself for how heavy the case would be. As I finally got a good enough grip on it though someone ran into me and the whole case exploded all over the floor. I turned around to see who this ass hole was but when I saw his eyes I felt my jaw drop. I closed it quickly to pull myself together. He had light brown hair he was average height for a guy and His eyes were a beautiful blue like the ocean and they shined like the sun shined on the waves making them glisten as the waves broke.

"You know, just because I'm short doesn't mean you can't see me. You should be more aware of you're surroundings." I growled at him. I was tired. Cranky. And worst of all, sweaty.

"Okay. Calm down sorry." He put enough emphasis on the work "okay." God why was guys always so rude? They're either insecure about themselves Or they have too much ego. Most likely both.

"You're lucky I don't have the energy to beat you're ass right now."

"Is that so?" Blue eyes asked. I started to walk away when he pulled me back looking slightly amused. Nothing gets me more pissed off then cocky guys.

"Alright lets make a compromise okay? Ill buy you a whole new case of Arnold Palmer and you put you're number in my phone." I thought about it for a minute, biting my lip but finally giving in to those eyes. You had to see these eyes though!

"Deal. At least he has some decency in him.". I mumbled under my breath. He heard some of what i said but he was apparently to slow to catch on to what I was thinking.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing, just taking to myself."

"So you're one of those kinds of girls huh?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Aren't you supposed to buy me a new case of Arnold palmer?" I asked trying to keep my temper at bay.

"Yeah ill do that while you out you're number in my phone."

He gave me his phone and I went to "contacts" to put my number in. I saved my contact as Kristie babe.

After he got the case of Arnold Palmer he went up to the register to ring it up. One of the guys who has to clean up these fun messes went into the section where it was. When I was done typing my number I hit save and gave it to blue eyes when he started walking back toward me.

"So you're name is Kristie huh? I'm drake."

"Thanks for buying me the iced tea drake." I said founding myself smiling up at him.

"No problem cutie. Ill text you later?" Asked drake.

"Sure but don't be surprised if You only get one text back from me. I'm most likely going to go to bed when I get home."

"Thanks for letting me know." Drake said, grinning at me. God he had a beautiful smile with dimples on each side.

"I'll walk you to you're car." He opened the door for me (I'm just as surprised as you are) and we walked to my Saturn.

"So I'll see you around?" I asked.

"Sure thing. Ill try and remember to text you tonight. I'm pretty beat up myself." I rolled my eyes at him and opened the door of the passenger side to put my drink on the seat. After drake got in his he let me back out of the parking lot and waited until I was safely on the road. I turned on the radio and Katy perry came on.

I'm wide awake

I'm wide awake

I'm wide awake

Yeah I was in the dark

I was falling hard

With an open heart

I'm wide awake

How did I read the stars so wrong?

I'm wide awake

And now it's clear to me

That everything you see

Ain't always what it seems

I'm wide awake

Yeah, I was dreaming for so long

I wish I knew then what I know now

Wouldn't dive in

Wouldn't blow down

Gravity hurts

You made it so sweet

Till I woke up on the concrete

Falling from cloud nine

Crashing from the high

I'm letting go tonight

Yeah, I'm falling from cloud nine

I'm wide awake

Yeah, I was born again

Out of the lions den

I don't have to pretend

And it's too late

The story's over now the end

I wish I knew then what I know now

Wouldn't dive in

Wouldn't blow down

Gravity hurts

You made it so sweet

Till I woke up on the concrete

Falling from cloud nine (it was out of the blue)

I'm crashing from the high

I'm letting go tonight (yeah, I'm letting you go)

I'm falling from cloud nine

I'm wide awake

Thunder rumbling

Castles crumbling

I'm wide awake

I'm trying to hold on

I'm wide awake

God knows That i tried

Seeing the bright side

I'm wide awake

I'm not blind anymore

I'm wide awake

I'm wide awake

Yeah, I'm falling from cloud nine

Crashing from the high

You know I'm letting go tonight

I'm falling from cloud nine

I'm wide awake (x5)

The song ended and I finally pulled up to my house. My parents were already in their beds sleeping probably so I went upstairs to my room trying to be quiet. I got out of my dance clothes and put on my pajamas. Then I took my make up off, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. I closed the door of the bathroom and went to my bad, already falling into a deep sleep. But he appeared in my dream that night.
