I could barely remember yesterday. It all felt like a dream, but when I looked over at my dresser I could see my precious tickets laying on top carefully. I don't know what to expect from Seattle. I'm not the city type of girl but I've always gotten through changes before so might as well get through this one. I looked at the clock and the time said it was almost six in the morning. I groaned knowing we will be leaving at seven. I got up and I decided to take a shower to help wake myself up a bit. Before I got in, I put on my music from my computer loud enough so I could hear it. I put on one of my favorite songs of Pearl Jam, "Indifference". I began listening to the lyrics focusing on nothing but the music and me shampooing my hair.

I will light the match this morning so I won't be alone

Watch as she lays silent for soon that will be gone

Oh I will stand arms outstretched, pretend I'm free to roam

Oh I will make my way through one more day in hell

How much difference does it make?

I will hold the candle until it burns up my arm

Oh I'll keep taking punches until their will grows tired

Oh I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind

Hey I won't change direction and I won't change my mind

How much difference does it make?

I'll swallow poison until I grow immune

I will scream my lungs out till it fills this room

How much difference (x2)

How much difference does it make? X2

When the song ended I was basically done with my shower. I braced my self knowing ill be cold when I turned the hot water off. I grabbed a towel wrapped it around my body and started thinking about what to wear. I figured I could throw on a pair of yoga sweatpants and my favorite bill a bong sweatshirt since my family and I are going to be traveling all day. After I got warm again I went downstairs skipping two stairs at a time hoping I won't trip.

"Are you ready for today Lolita?" My mom asked getting up and began making me an egg sandwich.

"You bet. Guess what Kristie and Megan got me last night?" I asked excitedly nearly jumping up and down.

"What?" My mom asked giving me a confused look.

"Two VIP tickets to see Pearl Jam live right in Seattle." I nearly screamed.

"What amazing friends you have when is the concert?" I realized I never looked at the date.

"I think it says March 14th. Is that a good date?" I asked suddenly getting worried.

"Yes it is fine. Who are you going to take?" Crap I haven't figured that one out yet.

"Well can you go?"

"I'm sorry honey ill be too busy getting the hang of my new job." My mom is a nurse who travels around the country a lot so when she told us that we had to move to Seattle it wasn't a surprise. But my mom was able to let me complete my high school career at the same school. I sighed understanding. Finally, my brother Steve came downstairs not looking good. He always looks horrible in the morning, his hair is messed up and he has dark circles under his eyes.

"Coffee?"

"There should be some left in the pot." Said my dad walking in to the kitchen.

"So we have a six hour plane ride to get to Seattle. We have to drive to Atlantic city air port and them well go through security and all that fun stuff. Everyone got their stuff together?" Asked my mom, taking charge like always. She's a great mom that way though.

"Yes." We all said in a tired/grumpy not so unison way. Steve and I went back upstairs to make sure we had all our suitcases and carry-on bags. When I packed my utilities I went back downstairs to the living room with my parents waiting.

"Steve is still getting ready." I explained.

"Okay get in the car then honey." My dad said. I got in the car and took my pillow pet out and cherished the few minutes I had of sleep before Oreo had to come in the car. We got a cage for her on the plane. Which will be very interesting seeing as she is hyper and can not sit still. My mom is going to take her for a long walk so that way shell get sort of tired. To get to the air port is about forty-five minutes away. Oreo saw me sitting in the car when my mom got back and she ran to the door. I opened it up before she could hurt herself and she started licking my face.

"Who's a good baby?" I asked her in my most obnoxious baby voice. After a few minutes Steve and my dad came out. My mom was ready so she got in the passenger seat and Oreo on my lap nearly crushing me with Steve sitting next to me and my dad who will do most of the driving. When we pulled out of our driveway I looked back at our old house once more and I felt grateful that I took a bunch of pictures of it. I began dozing off sleeping on my dog who actually didn't mind me sleeping on her. After a while when I was sound asleep I felt someone shaking my shoulder wanting me to get up. Could we be there already?

"Lolita were here wake up ya lazy bone." Yep that would be Steve. We got into the airport and after we got done going through security and getting our pass ports checked we were finally able to sit down for a few minutes before our plane being called. After about twenty minutes or so we are able to get aboard on the plane. I felt my stomach doing flips and I went. Aboard. The pilot was talking through the speaker telling us the safety rules and hoping well. Enjoy our flight. I decided to read for awhile and after two in a half hours my eyes started getting heavy so I let myself fall asleep for the rest of the flight. After six hours and twenty-three minutes I could feel the plane landing.

"Welcome to Seattle lady's and gentlemen. Do not unbuckle you're seat belts until the plane is safely landed." I heard a beeping noise and I jerked awake. The plane landed and my family and I walked down the aisle with the other people and we said our thanks to the pilot. Before I walked into the airport I took a deep and entered Seattle.
