Complicated and confusing

End

Ross's POV:
As soon as Sam went and picked up Alex from school and Katie picked up Kyle and Maddie from daycare, we were going to have a party for Maddie and Kyle's birthday. 31st of January and they were going to be 4. "Heeeyyyyy everyone," Kyle yelled as he walked in the door of the common room. "Hey little man," Trott said picking Kyle up I saw Maddie and she ran to me but then went straight past me to Teneille. Teneille laughed and Maddie poked her tongue out at me. "Happy birthday little girl," I said taking Maddie off Teneille.
"I'm not a little girl I'm 4," Maddie said holding up 4 fingers.
"I told you she has my incredible sass," Teneille laughed and so did I. We had a party of the two kids and they were so happy to have a family such as ours. "Hey daddy," Kyle said to Trott.
"Yers."
"I spoke to some else today, with the help of Maddie." Maddie was like Kyle's speaker she said everything for him at daycare. "That's awesome buddy who was it to."
"A new little girl at daycare who was very quiet to."
"I went over to her and Kyle just followed me and I got him to at least say hi to her," Maddie said. Kyle was slowly learning to talk to other people, Maddie was helping him lots they were like brother and sister, but they were cousins. Katie came back in with two cakes, one was a cat face and the other was a soccer ball. After we had cake and stuff I noticed that Alex was just sitting away form everyone and not really talking, so I went up to him. "What's up buddy, why are you away from everyone."
"I just need to say something but I'm scared to," he started shaking a little bit.
"Hey man it's alright tell me and I will help you," I sat down in front of him.
"I-I can't can you get mum please." I went and got Sam and saw her talking to him for a bit. "What's wrong with Alex why is he crying," Teneille asked me.
"I don't know he said he had something to tell everyone but was scared to." I looked at Maddie and Kyle and they just looked at Alex and then looked at each other, they knew. "Hey Mads do you know what's up with Alex," I asked. She nodded, "He is going to tell everyone but it's just scary for him, it would be scary for anyone." Even though Alex was 6 years older than Kyle and Maddie they still hung out a lot. I stood up and walked back to Teneille. "What's up then."
"They won't say either just that it's scary." Smith walked over to Alex as well and everyone just paused and looked at them for a second and then turned away. Sam, Smith and Alex stood up and walked out for a little bit. "Well that's worrying," Teneille said.
"Hey Ross you know what's up," Trott asked me. I shook my head. They came back in a few minutes later and Smith cleared his throat making everyone look. "I-I have something to say to everyone," Alex said. Smith and Sam walked back to the crowd so Alex had someone to look at that knew. "I-I don't want to be a boy anymore I want to be a girl," he said wiping a tear out of his eye. Maddie and Kyle went up and gave him a hug. "Group hugs!" Maddie yelled and everyone went up and hugged Alex to make him feel better. This was a good life, I had a beautiful girlfriend, the cutest daughter and the best of friends. I was happy and wouldn't change anything if I was given the chance.
