I'm met with a sick feeling in my stomach the instant I open my eyes. So to fix that I keep my eyes closed. It's not like I can get up anyway, a heavy body is on top of mine, blocking me from moving.
I didn't go to bed drunk, hell I wasn't even that drunk. Raze made sure to sober me up and hydrate me before I even dared to close my eyes.
But I'm still nauseous as fuck. I had way too much coffee and too much water. If I jiggle my belly I can hear the liquids crash against each other like waves do in oceans.
Though, I have to admit that it was fun.
Dancing without a care in the world with someone you know you can trust to save you from embarrassing yourself is quite possibly the best feeling in the world. Raze always makes me feel safe and loved.
"Morning, my love." The man I was just thinking of groans, his heavy arm moving up so he can thread his hand into my hair. Curly hair. Jumping into that damn lake was a mistake. "Don't move," he warns when I attempt to whirl around to face him.
Laying on my back is only making me sicker.
I groan, "Angel, I feel sick."
"I'm not surprised." He chuckles with that husky morning voice of his. "Keep laying like this and open your eyes once your head isn't spinning." He gently massages my scalp until I don't feel like dying anymore.
His hand slips from my hair to my abdomen, "Open your eyes." He places his hand on top of my stomach and applies a little pressure, massaging it to calm me down.
Gradually, I open my eyes, letting the sun burn them the second I do so.
"Breathe through your nose and don't talk. Just wait."
My eyes automatically shut again after a few moments of breathing that way. Raze gets up and returns with something in his hands, he pulls my bottom lip down and plops a pill into my mouth. "Drink up," he orders as he places a straw into my mouth.
He's treating me way too kind, it's adorable. However, I can't help but smile a little at the fact that he's treating me like a child. Well... Not exactly like a child that would be odd. He's just treating me with compassion and kindness.
I swallow the pill and he lays next to me again, this time slowly pulling me closer to his chest, "Don't talk. Just breathe."
I nuzzle into his neck, breathing as he told me to do. Raze rubs my back, making sure I'm not cold. I know I'm breathing into his neck like some sort of animal but he doesn't seem to mind. On the contrary, he kisses my shoulder and tells me to take my time.
