Ugh, there's too much light in this room. My head is pounding and I think I'm-

I bounce up from my bed scrambling towards the toilet. I empty my stomach multiple times, I hadn't even noticed that Corvina was holding my hair back.

"What the fuck happened last night?" I mumble as I curl up on the cold bathroom floor. It's soothing.

"Apparently, there was liquor in your food. You didn't take it well."

"Yeah, no shit."

"Come on, get up."

Rather than completely getting up I just plop my head on her lap. She laughs as her hands tangle into my hair.

"So long for straight hair." I chuckle.

"I'll help you straighten it if you want?"

"No, I just wanna curl up and die."

She whacks my arm, "don't say that."

"Ow! Don't do that." I cry out.

"Don't be a baby. Come on, get up. We- you have things to do."

I clasp her hands, hoisting myself up. I pick up my toothbrush and start brushing my teeth, "what's on my agenda, miss?"

"Well, Laurent has been here twice already. He clearly has plans for you."

"Mh-hmm, anything else? My mind is blank, I don't remember anything after meeting that asshole."

"You don't?" She sounds surprised.

I rinse my mouth with some water before continuing, "no, should I? Did I embarrass myself?"

"No! No, definitely not. Raze noticed you were drunk way before us so he wanted to take you to bed. Sorin suggested to do it but- well he would need to undress you et cetera so I did it. Raze helped me bring you here and then left."

My eyes move over what I'm wearing and a frown instantly appears on my face- "he brought those." Cor lets out.

"Huh?"

"The king had only allowed little thin gowns to be placed in your wardrobe so Raze brought those for you."

Oh. That explains why it smells like him. I thought I was hallucinating.

I place my brush back in my cup and move on to washing my face. I cleanse my face before using the expensive-looking creme. I don't know what it's supposed to do but it makes my skin feel soft so that's that.

"That's okay, I guess. He didn't stay?-not that I would want him to but he didn't?"

"He wanted to." V goes on, "he didn't like leaving you in here in that condition but he respected your wishes."
