Chapter 11

[Shizun..i don't want to leave you.]

"Young man, you made a good choice, This is Rose quartz which attracts love, you can give it to your lover, It will benefit you both in your relationship." The marketeer remarked, as he offered it to Yun lixin seeing that this Rose Quartz attracted his attention, the marketeer took his chance.

"Shizun! Look here!" Yun lixin excitedly called out. Xiu qiangshu walked towards him.
Yun lixin called out in his hand he had two tassels with Rose quartz attached in them.

"What is it?" Xiu qiangshu asked, Yun lixin passed it to Xiu qiangshu, as he examined it.

"It's a rose Quartz, it's good for couple-" The Marketeer's voice was blurred out with Yun lixin's loud cough, Xiu qiangshu cocked a brow suspiciously.

"Ahem, Shizun, it's friendship type of gem. It attracts love."

"Waste of money, don't want it. You can have it." Xiu qiangshu commented, his brows furrowed.

Yun lixin pouted before he got an idea, "It's also keeps off bad dreams and gives good ones." This had caught Xiu qiangshu's attention, he quickly snatched it and attached the tassel to the hilt of his sword.

"I'll take it." Xiu qiangshu responded as he gave him 2 gold taels (money) also paying for Yun lixin. At first the marketeer had a weird look of disgust and confusion on his face, but upon seeing the money his expression changed.

"Why did you pay shizun? I could have paid."

"Don't waste your money." Xiu qiangshu responded, Yun lixin smiled brightly as he attached the tassel to his black leather belt on his waist.

They had stopped for eating at a restaurant, but now that they were done eating, they decided to continue their journey back. As they rode their horses through the forest, Yun lixin called out again, Xiu qiangshu slowed down his horse as he looked over, turning his horse towards Yun lixin he stood beside him.

Yun lixin was sitting on a white horse as he smiled,"Shizun look a butterfly, It is said that this butterfly is rare and it blesses people to find their soulmate."

Xiu qiangshu frowned,'Is it a myth or reality? But anything was possible since he was stuck in a novel.'

The butterfly sat softly on Yun lixin's nose before sitting on his fingers, Yun lixin had the cutest smile on his face, without realizing, Xiu qiangshu also slightly smiled seeing Yun lixin.

Then the butterfly came towards Xiu qiangshu, it flew infront of his face, Xiu qiangshu gave out his hand, the butterfly sat on his hand fluttering it's wings. It was indeed beauitful, it was crimson in color.

Yun lixin gazed at him, he had a shy smile on his lips as he looked at Xiu qiangshu who looked dazzling under the broad daylight, his black pearl eyes as he stared at the butterfly with curiosity.

Yun lixin commented with a slight blush on his cheeks, "It is said that if the butterfly chooses two people, they are meant to be a couple."

"I see." Xiu qiangshu replied indifferently before he realized his eyes slightly went wide while he panicked but didn't show it to Yun lixin. The butterfly then fluttered it's thin wings and flew away. Xiu qiangshu quickly strode his horse to hide his panicked face.

"Shizun! Wait for me!" Yun lixin grinned as he understood how his shizun must have been shy. "Shizun is so cute." He thought, wanting to tease him more.

"There might be a war between demons and humans again?" Xiu qiangshu asked, his eyes slightly wide, as he tried staying in his character. Everyone were here at the pavillion, as they were being informed of the current situation.

"Yes, Troubles keep piling up. We might have to send the chosen disciples to light of heaven sect for training if war broke out between humans and demon realm as the demons say, then it will be a disaster, And we can't take the risk." Peak lord Zue sighed shaking his head.

"But since they can't teach all since there will be too many disciples, but the chosen ones will be trained and they themselves will train other disciples. Seems like everyone's sect is going to be empty." Peak lord Zue continued, with concern.

"Don't worry Peak Lord Zue, this is the best thing we can do to protect mortals." Xiu qiangshu responded, an attempt to decrease his burden.

"You're right. We must start right now, we never know when they might start a war. Xiu qiangshu who would you choose personally and send to Light of heaven sect?" Xiu qiangshu was taken aback with the sudden question, he glanced around finding Shuchang, Qiang fang and Yun lixin's face around the crowd of disciples.

"I shall choose..Shuchang, Qiangfang and Yun lixin." As Yun lixin's name left from his lips, Xiu qiangshu felt a weird emptiness in his heart. As he then turned towards Peak Lord Zue. He could feel Yun lixin's somberly staring at him.

Peak Lord Zue continued asking other disciples as they stood beside their Shizuns. Qiangfang and Shuchang look proud whereas Yun lixin looked sad even though he looked straight with serious expression. Yun lixin was growing and his features started becoming more appealing, which had girls drooling over him.

As the meeting was over, Xiu qiangshu decided to take a walk outside. He took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air. It was already night, and tonight Yun lixin would leave..he felt empty. Decided to relax and slid his naked feet in the water sitting on the ground as he stared at the waterfall, it glittered white as if it had stars in it. It looked beauitful.

Xiu qiangshu when he was in his orignal world also admired the world outside, somehow it brought peace to his mind and heart. The world was beautiful but the people weren't and he realized it at a young age that destoyed his childhood. But now that he was in this novel, he was free to do anything as long as he didn't die and did what the system Said to do which was awesome. This world had a variety of different things that didn't bore him at all. The most thing that he loved was killing demons, it was the thing he was best at and if felt really good to feel the power and be powerful than others. Atleast he wasn't a mortal.

"Shizun? What are you doing?" Yun lixin asked, "Nothing, just relaxing." Yun lixin nodded at his statement as he slid next to him, doing the same thing as his shizun, dropping his foot into the water.

There was silence, the relaxing sound of waterfall and the water waves calmed the feeling in Xiu qiangshu's heart. Yun lixin broke the silence, as patience took over him.

"Shizun, why did you choose me?" Yun lixin asked.

"Just be blunt, i know this isn't your question." Xiu qiangshu remarked.

Yun lixin chuckled, "Shizun knows me well." He then sighed before replying, "Shizun, i don't want to go. I don't want to leave you."

Xiu qiangshu stared at the translucent water,  a sad expression on his face." You cannot stay with me forever Yun lixin, someday you have to leave and you're leaving just for few months, you shall be fine." Xiu qiangshu replied with soft voice.

"..but i don't want to leave you. They have other talented disciples out there. There is no need for me to go. I will protect you here, what if something happens?" Yun lixin insisted.

"Do you think, l am not so powerful enough to protect myself?" Xiu qiangshu asked with disappointment.

"N-no! It's not like that! You're powerful than me, I'm just worried."

Xiu qiangshu chuckled, "I was just teasing you. Either way, i can protect myself, don't worry about me. Protecting mortals is also important, atleast i can protect myself and others, but mortals can't it is our responsiblity to protect them."

"And," xiu qiangshu continued. "Don't think lowly of yourself, you're more capable than anyone else. I trust you with the responsibility of protecting and teaching others." Yun lixin admired him in amazement, this words made him motivated to work harder and come back quickly so he can be with his shizun again.

"I won't let shizun down." Yun lixin gave an astonishing smile. Xiu qiangshu nodded at him proudly.
