Shi Lian introduced herself again and cupped her fist across her chest.

"I'm Peak Lord Xiu Qiangshu's disciple, Yun Lixin." He smiled slightly and cupped his fists together as well.

Yun Lixin immediately turned toward Xiu Qiangshu.

"Shizun, I need to tell you something." Yun Lixin hesitantly said.

Xiu Qiangshu was about to reply, but suddenly a familiar figure called out.

"Xiu-ge!" Lord Gu Xiang came running toward Xiu Qiangshu upon seeing him.

"She is, indeed." Shi Liang replied.

"I'll meet you at the demon hunting competition then." Gu Xiang smiled.

Xiu Qiangshu nodded at her before she gracefully walked back to her carriage.

"Shizun, we need to start preparing for the demon-hunting competition in a week, so we don't have much time left." Shi Liang informed, and Xiu Qiangshu nodded.
