[Shizun...I hate it when you're with him.]

Days passed as Xiu Qiangshu, and Shi Liang prepared for the Demon-Hunting competition. In the mornings, he would be at the open field behind the sect, which also connected the demon realm, decorating and preparing for the Demon-hunting competition. At night, he would sleep wherever they discussed, for example, a library, because he was often tired and couldn't walk back to his residence. And behind the library were rooms they could stay in, so Xiu Qiangshu and Shi Liang often slept there in different rooms.

"Shi Lian will stay here until the Demon Hunting competition?" Xiu Qiangshu's eyes went slightly wide.

"Yes, Maybe even decide to become a disciple of this sect. But she'll stay here only if you don't mind, Shizun." Shi Liang replied.

"I don't mind at all..." Xiu Qiangshu replied quietly. He looked out of the window and saw that it was raining heavily. Dark clouds clouded the night sky.

Xiu Qiangashu wondered what Yun Lixin was doing right now. He was probably with Shi Lian advancing his storyline with her, and Xiu Qiangshu didn't want to see that. Xiu Qiangshu maintained his distance from Yun Lixin ever since Shi Lian arrived. However, Xiu Qiangshu will face Yun Lixin tomorrow because of the Demon Hunting competition. 

"System, What's Yun Lixin's love interest right now?" Xiu Qiangshu asked. And although he was curious to find out if his love interest had increased, he was afraid what he might see might break his heart.

[System: Yun Lixin's love interest right now is 79%...78%...77%..]

Xiu Qiangshu's life flashed before his eyes as he saw Yun Lixin's love interest decrease. He immediately stood up.

Why is his Love interest decreasing when it's supposed to go up even when Shi Lian is here?

Shi Liang noticed Xiu Qiangshu getting up and looked confused. "Is something wrong?"

"I need to go somewhere." Xiu Qiangshu took an umbrella that leaned against the wall beside the entrance and walked out of the library, where Shi Liang and Xiu Qiangshu had decided to work for peace.

"At this, the system will punish me, and I will eventually die too!" Xiu Qiangshu yelled as he paced toward the dorm where Yun Lixin usually sleeps. But he stopped in his tracks when he realized something. He doesn't know where Yun Lixin sleeps, for he has never visited him there before, nor is it mentioned in the novel.

"System, Can you tell me where Yun Lixin sleeps or where he is right now?" Xiu Qiangshu asked impatiently.

[System: Yun Lixin's love interest...79%..70%..79%..70% ..]

"Is this system glitched?!" Xiu Qiangshu yelled in frustration.

Xiu Qiangshu looked for Yun Lixin in all the expected places disciples usually are, yet he still couldn't find Yun Lixin.

Xiu Qiangshu sighed as he looked at the night sky filled with stars, "Where are you, Yun Lixin."

A flash of memory popped into his mind as Xiu Qiangshu remembered something.

"Could he possibly be in..." Xiu Qiangshu immediately went to the place he thought Yun Lixin was in, and indeed he was right. There Yun Lixin was, hugging his knees under the cherry tree. Everything changed for Yun Lixin and Xiu Qiangshu that day before New Year's.

"There you are!" Xiu Qiangshu said with relief as he held the umbrella for Yun Lixin, even though it wasn't needed under the bright bushy cherry tree. Xiu Qiangshu noticed several petals ripped out of every flower around Yun Lixin.
