Luciana Point of View:
I forced myself up from the ground on shaky legs. The very small movement made me want to cry out in pain. My ribs were going to be an obstacle in my escape.
Okay... I've got to hurry.
I took a moment to catch my breath and prepare myself before I pulled the door open. I was at the end of a hall. Only one direction to go. When I was brought down here, I didn't pay any attention to the direction we came from.
Since the exit is the same as the entrance, I am very certain that there are guards outside the door. I didn't have a choice, I needed to take the risk.
The hallway had a few turns before I could see the exit door. I started to walk a bit faster, the adrenaline rushing through my veins. The sound of my shoes hitting the floor was all I could hear.
A small window was at the top of the door, I stood on my tip toes and peered through the glass. To my surprise there wasn't anyone posted at the door.
I turned the doorknob and it creaked loudly. I had to pull on the doorknob to actually get the door open. With all my strength, I could barely get it open enough to squeeze my body out of it.
Once through, I took a moment to breathe. There were now two directions to go, left or right. I froze when I heard it, footsteps. They were getting louder too.
In a panic, I ran to the right. I struggled to run, my lungs feeling like they were on fire. I needed to be careful, if I pushed my already injured body too much, I believe my body would give up.
Before I could go any further, a hand was on my mouth, and I was being pulled into a closet. My heart was pounding in my chest.
"Keep quiet", they said in a hushed tone. It was either Nicolas or Alexander, their voices sounding so similar. "Stay silent or they will know where we are."
Who's they? I stayed quiet, not wanting to get caught. I watched the light under the door and noticed shadows were rushing by the closet.
"When I move my hand, please do not scream I don't want either of us to die", He mumbled into my ear.
I nodded and he slowly removed his hand from my mouth. I turned to look at who it actually was. I sighed when I saw it was Alexander.
His face was covered in black and blue bruises. He had a black eye as well. Dried blood was also on his lip, like someone busted it open.
"And I thought I looked rough", He chuckled.
I raised my left hand and smacked his face. When I looked at the aftermath, he had a pink spot on his cheek where my hand made contact. He looked confused and offended.
"That's for calling me cold before", I said with a glare.
"Deserved", He sighed, "You're just so different since I saw you last."
I got against the door, making sure there weren't any stragglers. "Listen, we don't have time for emotional shit. We need to get out of here", I explained.
"That's why I was coming to get you", He agreed.
I asked, "Do you have a plan or are we leaving blindly?"
He paused," I have a plan but neither of us are going to like it... at all."
"Go on", I urged him to continue.
"I am going to make it seem like I am taking you upstairs to... fuck you, like Nicolas is planning to do."
That plan could work; however it could follow the same pattern that occurred in Nicolas's apartment when he drugged me. The only thing different about this time is I have no one to rescue me if it is the same.
I bit my lip, "Do you think it will work?"
"As long as people mind their fucking business.", He nodded.
"How do I know you won't try to actually fuck me", I demanded.
He busted out in laughter. His palm went to cover his mouth to silent himself. "That won't be happening", He chuckled, "I'm gay."
I crossed my arms over my chest, "How was I supposed to know that? We aren't exactly best friends anymore."
"You are right, but I do have a bartering chip for you to believe me.", He turned around and grabbed something off of the shelves. He handed me a pistol. "Now you know I won't try anything."
I raised and aimed it at his head, "Why are you helping me escape?"
He took a breath, "You don't deserve to be here, or what my brother plans to do to you."
"Why should I believe you?"
"Believe me or don't", He shrugged," But I know this house, you don't."
He had a point; I had no idea where I was or how to leave. "If I get any bad feelings, I am going to decorate the walls with your brain matter."
"Deal", he agreed.
I lowered the gun and hid it in the waistband of my pants.
"I'm going to need to hold your wrists together", He stated, "And please don't freak out if I press myself against you... we need to make this believable."
I nodded and he slowly opened the closet door. Alexander took the lead as we walked down the hall. As we entered a room, he got behind me and held my wrists in his hands as we walked. Two guards were posted outside the next door.
"What are you doing with the prisoner?", One of them demanded.
"Mother didn't tell you?" Alexander asked with a smirk, "Since I turned myself in, I get to have my fun with Luciana tonight." He pressed his body against my back and planted a few kisses on the side of my neck.
The guards shared a look before they opened the door. They seemed a bit suspicious but they let us through nonetheless.
"The garage is right next to my room", He whispered in my ear," It's right down the hall."
We kept walking until three doors came into view. Alexander let go of my wrists and opened the furthest one. When we entered, I could smell oil in the air.
"Okay Luciana, this is the fun part", He said while opening the door to a truck.
