Chapter 18:

Zoey's Pov:

I woke up the next morning preparing myself to break the news to my mum. I wasn't sure if I was excited or annoyed with the situation. My hands were shaking from my nerves

"Come on" Jaidon smiled supportively "it's best to to do it now"

I gave a small nod and he took my hand. We slowly walked downstairs hand in hand into the sick bay and I could tell Jaidon regretted what he'd just seen

"Mum!" I said shocked

"Oh hi love" she pushed dad away "I was practicing uh... CPR"

"We'll since this is more important than what I was going to say" I tried walking back out the door

"Woah no" Jaidon grabbed my waist "we're doing this now"

"But-" I whined

"Now" he said coldly

"Fine" I grumbled folding my arms

"For somebody not even a week in you're having a lot of swings" Jaidon laughed

"So?" I asked

"Please let your emotions stabilize" he pleaded under his breath

I opened my mouth offended "excuse me?"

"Nothing" he smiled innocently "I said nothing"

"Thought so" I smiled

"Now tell them" he shoved me forwards

"Can't you do it?" I whined

"No you're the daughter not me" he chuckled

"Argh fine" I groaned

"What did you want to say dear?" My mum asked

"I uh, I'm uhm... Me and Jaidon uh" I kept stumbling on my words "pregnant"

"Oh for the love of peace she's pregnant!" Jaidon shouted

"What he said" I pointed over my shoulder "I'm sorry"

"Oh yay you two" my mum clapped like a little girl "is it a boy or a girl? Honey isn't it amazing?"

My dad on the other hand didn't look at his finest

"Ooh have you picked any names?" She asked her eyes lighting up "I was thinking Amy or Rebecca OH if it's a boy how about Gerald?"

"How about no" I laughed

Jaidon burst out laughing

"So names then?" She asked looking upset

"I don- WE don't know" I looked at Jaidon who was busy slamming his fist against the wall still in a fit of laughter

We all went silent

"Jaidon" I said tapping his shoulder "oi Jai"

He kept laughing

"OH EM JAI MY WATER BROKE!" I exclaimed

"WHAT???" He shouted

"Oopies just kidding" I laughed

"Grr Zoey" he clenched his fists

"Aww you look like Bambi" I cooed "that's so cute oh my gosh mum look!"

He looked at me darkly and I stopped

"Fine, fine sorry" I waved my hands "I stopped"

he smiled again

"And you said I was having mood swings" I rolled my eyes as he kissed my head

"Okay we don't have names" he ignored me "butttt.... I'm working on it, kinda, in a way. I think... Ask Zoey, Zoey?"

"First off pathetic and second no names" I shrugged "well not yet anyway"

"How's Falcon?" He asked

"Stupid" I said not impressed

"Frank?"

"Let's just call him Jimminy" I said in a happy sarcastic tone

"Fine you choose a name then" he gave in

"Ash for a boy" I said

"Why ash?" He asked

"Because Ashley is a pretty name but other boys will tease him so Ash" I said

"You are not turning into one of those mores that call their kids their full names are you?" He asked

"Why?" I said confused "is that a problem?"

"Ashley get your bum over here young man!" Jaidon shouted in a girly voice "Ashley this is your last chance!"

"Oh" I pursed my lips

"Oh she says" he rolled his eyes

"Yeah just stick with ash and no Ashley" I said

"Oh ashy boy" Jaidon started again with a small girl voice "your hair looks grrrreat today!"

"Just wait till he starts dating" I laughed

Jaidon looked at me funny

"I can't believe I just said that" I scoffed

We left

"Sooooo that went well" Jaidon shrugged

"Shut up" I laughed
