꒰ chapter forty eight ꒱

"sunghoon!" an angelic soft voice would appear a little later, sunghoon heard it loud and clear.

immediately feeling some sort of comfort when the sound of the persons voice came out, it felt like he was being healed up and all the pain would just suddenly disappear.

"sunghoon! there you are!" again, the voice that sounded to dreamy. could he be my cure? sunghoon sobbed, he didn't want to get fooled by love again, but just for some reason, he felt as if he was the person who would help him escape.

the figure rushed over to sunghoon, who was squatting down by the edge. "are you okay! you're sweating a lot!" jake stammered.

jakes shaky hands pressed onto sunghoons cheeks, checking to see if the younger boy was okay and soon enough, jake let out a sigh of relief and stared into sunghoons traumatized face.

"it's okay, you're with me now." jake assured the younger and wrapped his arms around him, pulling him into a hug.

my long lasting love, my forever, finally.. sunghoon sobbed and sobbed, it felt as if he was finally safe and sound.

he tried so hard to push the thought of love out of his mind, he wanted to push the boy away and call him stupid names for making him feel like he was actually weak, but he couldn't, he knew once he was out of the boys soft embrace would be the moment he would regret his whole life, the dangerous thoughts would continue to drown him and kill the mindset he's always called for.

sunghoons heart was confused, he didn't know what he wanted, he didn't know if jake was definitely the one to heal his scarred heart, he didn't know if he liked jake or just lead him on for the games.

could he be the person that could give me love? he questioned himself, stuck in denial. sunghoon could not believe it but the answer would literally be in embrace.

jake pulled out from the long, yet comforting hug and stared into sunghoons glossy eyes and used his thumb to wipe the tears off his face.

"sunghoon, you don't have to hide your tears anymore..." jake choked out, sniffling and let out a little broken smile. "seeing you cry, pains me." the older whispered softly.

again with such an angelic voice, sunghoons heart raced and he could feel that tingly feeling in his stomach, it's what he would always dream of, jakes voice was like music to sunghoons ears, he loved it so much.

sunghoons tears just wouldn't stop rolling down his cheeks, at that moment he didn't feel as if he was being weak, he truly felt as if the person infront of him cared for him.

they stared at each other eye to eye, this moment was so special to sunghoon.

"hoon, i love you." jake let out a smile, eyes filled with desperation to hear the right words coming out of sunghoons mouth.

"i.. i think.. i can love you." sunghoon said in between the little sobs as his face grew a light shade of pink.

that was when jake pulled sunghoon in a kiss, this kiss wasn't filled with lust or anything they had done before, except it was actually filled with love, it was so passionate and comforting.

as the two boys backed away, sunghoon immediately pulling jake into a hug and shut his eyes closed.

"thank you..." sunghoon whispered and continued.

"thank you for showing me what love feels like."
