꒰ chapter one ꒱

jake nervously entered the school building, it was the first day of school after he transferred out of his old one.

"finally, i've been waiting for this moment." jake mumbled and walked inside the schools gates, he let out a little smile as girls whispered loudly.

jake heard a few compliments, which caused his confidence to go up, but he wasn't gonna do something stupid, because he had this all planned out.

jake made it to the principals office and for his schedule and came across some of the schools rules.

"this school is quite decent, probably better than my old one." he mumbled as he left the office and quickly made his way to class.

the door to his classroom was already closed and he wasn't so if he should just enter, because that would just interrupt the whole class.

he sighed and was about to knock when someone coughed from behind, he turned around and his eyes glistened. finally.

"can you move? i'm trying to enter." the boy, also known as park sunghoon, said with a hint of confusion but his face soon soften as realization hit him.

"oh hey, you must be the new student people are talking about?" he said with a soft smile but it quickly changed, sunghoon continued to stare at jake with a flirtatious look.

jake let out a chuckle and nodded shyly, sunghoons gaze was beautiful, but jake wasn't falling for it, he would never.

jake turned to the door and quickly entered the classroom, with sunghoon following behind. "you two are late." the teacher said as she put her hands on her hips.

jake was about to explain the situation but sunghoon has already spoken.

"he's a new student so i helped him find his way to this class." the younger said, jake looked at sunghoon and flashed a small smile, thanking him with a tiny bow, as sunghoon smiled and both sat on their seats.

time has passed and jake introduced himself and was assigned to sit next to a boy named sunoo. it was already lunch time and the class was dismissed, but jake just stayed in class.

the boy he sat next to has been sleeping the whole entire time, and the teacher didn't even care, no scratch that, the whole school didn't care about what ever happens in, as long as it didn't cause a huge conflict.

jake sighed as he leaned his head on his hand, cupping his own face, as he was lost in his thoughts the boy next to him twitched, he's eyes automatically moved towards the boy who put his head up and yawned.

"oh, a new face? oh wait never mind!" the boy mumbled and smiled. "i hope you didn't see me twitch in my sleep." the boy chuckled.

jake chuckled as well. "you twitched so hard, you scared me." the aussie joked, dramatically putting his hand on his heart, which caused the boy to place his hands over his face as embarrassment took over him.

the two boys introduced each other and became close in seconds, like they have been friends forever, their humours matched well and it was decided that jake was sunoos bestie.

they made their way to the cafeteria to eat lunch but something, no wait someone caught jakes attention.

"sunoo, i have a question." jake mumbled, his eyes not leaving the boy who sat with his friends, that was not so far away from his table so he had a clear view.

sunoo let out a hum dedicating that he was listening as the two boys placed their tray on the table and sat down.

"can you tell me what park sunghoon is like?" jake said, meeting eyes with sunoo who choked on his own saliva.

"park sunghoon!? don't tell me that you've fallen for him." sunoo said, wiping his face with a tissue.

sunoos reaction confused jake, the aussie did not want to assume things fast, even though he knew half of the truth but sunoo made him think negatively.

what's up with park sunghoon.

"hm, i met him before entering our classroom, and i have taken a slight interest in him." jake said. actually, he had full interest in sunghoon, just not in a good way.

he tilted his head as sunoo quickly shook his head. "no, don't." sunoo said, the younger exhaled his breath and stared at jake.

"he's bad news."
