"Two eights," Karl gently set two cards face down onto a discard pile.

"So, I know Sapnap, and I figure that one's Karl," Dream points to Karl, then turns to Quackity, "and you must be the other guy this idiot keeps rambling on and on about. Swear he must be checking you two out every-"

George bursted out into obnoxious laughter, sinking his head to the table trying to hide it as Sapnap stomped on Dream's foot with his, "bro, not cool."

Dream wheezed, laying down one card on the table, strangling out a "one nine."

Karl and Quackity snickered as well, but they didn't wanna laugh at Sapnap (Karlnapity Pog).

Clearing his throat, Alex turned Dream's card over, "bullshit."

The cards revealed that Dream did not put down a nine, and Sapnap huffed, "At least he's better at card games at us so at least if I'm not kicking your ass, someone else is."

Karl and Sapnap snickered as Dream groaned and took the pile of cards from the center of the table. Alex proceeded to put down three tens.

"Oh yeah, I'm George by the way, uh- yeah. I don't get out much," George says as he puts down his cards as well, figuring it was a good time to mention that.

Dream nodded as Sapnap put down his last two cards, "I'm out," he said, "take that losers!"

"Damnit," Alex muttered, he didn't like to lose.

Karl collected the cards and began shuffling them again. He dealt them out again.
Sapnap began to shed some light, "Well, as you can see by my crest, I'm part of the royal guard..."

"One ace," Karl mumbled.

Sapnap continued, "My friend here–let's just say he's an...important...person."

Sapnap put down his cards, Alex wasn't convinced and flipped them over, "Take your cards and your bullshit. How important are we talking?"

Geroge began to put down his cards, but dropped them on the floor, "oops.."

Dream happened to notice, and reached down for them. "Thanks," George whispered.

Dream nodded, a bit distracted by the conversation in front of them. George stared for a moment. If he looked close enough, from a side view, you could see that Dream had a little birthmark below his eye. It was very hard to read any expression Dream had though, considering he wore that stupid mask. Realizing that it was indeed not normal to stare at people...George shook his head and focused back to the situation at hand.

Sapnap looked at Dream, as if to talk with him telepathically, "I'm not sure if I should say."

Alex shook his head slowly, then Karl stood up, taking an empty muffin pan away from the table.

As he walked to the back room, he calmly said, "Guys it's kinda obvious. Dream is the prince."

Silence...

Even more silence...

Well this is kinda awkward.

...

"AHAHAHAHAHA-" Alex erupted into laughter.

"How the hell-" Sapnap dropped his cards on the table, the vein almost popping out of his head from confusion.

Dream sunk into his chair, he seemed kinda embarrassed. George started snickering behind Alex, his laugh was contagious.

"...Did I do the thing again?" Karl chuckled slowly, had a tendency to make intelligent information seem so simple.

"How the hell did you figure?" Dream asked in his sunken state.

Karl walks back to the table, standing in front of Alex and Sapnap, who were looking up at him as he explained, "Do you know how many people I see and talk to a day? There's not a rumor I haven't heard. The prince with a mask is a fan favorite."

Alex smiled and nodded, "Ese es mi chico."

Karl blushed, smiling back, "I learn from the best, Q."

Sapnap looked down at the ground, mumbling and bewildered, "Am I the only one who found that hot–?"

Alex, who had just calmed down from laughing his ass off, found himself erupting in boisterous wheezes once again, "KJDHAHA-"
(Bro, Sapnap, are you trying to flirt? 😳)

"But, anyway, my people skills aren't the only thing that gave a hint. When Dream came through the doors, Sapnap nearly called him Clay, which is the prince's name. Not to mention, the green hood you are wearing is made from a special kind of fabric found only in the castle, has to do with the shine of it under sunlight, in which you're sitting right by my window–and the small broach you have holding it to your body, has the kingdom crest on it. At that point it was clear to me. I'm sure Alex noted some other things," Karl ranted.

Alex smirked, then started talking at ten-thousand miles an hour, "I've been around the streets, there's not a person out there who hasn't heard about the prince's right-hand man. I'm trying to join the kingdom's court, so I've studied the books. You're not just some royal guard, you're a fucking knight, Sapnap...and from what I've read, you're damn good at it."

George took his shot as well, "I'm nowhere as near intelligent as those two, but I've read some of Alex's books when I was bored. I seriously doubt–considering all that had been said– that you and the prince have the same birthmark."

Karl and Alex were impressed, "George, my man," Alex chuckles and high-fives him.

The two boys were dumbfounded. Absolutely baffled.

"You said they were probably knowledgeable Nick–I didn't know you meant THIS-" Dream let his head fall to the table, and he remained resting it there in defeat.

Dream sighed then mumbled to Sapnap, "You're right, it is kinda hot–"

"Dude what the fuck, that was a late ass reaction," Sapnap clicked his tongue in disbelief.

The boys were all laughing and wheezing, amused by this dumb sense of humor.

"Dream, I think they won the trust game," Sapnap picked the cards up from a round them, stacking them up neatly.

They all took a moment to calm down, and Dream stood up to all the sitting boys.

"Alright fine, I'll let you in on my mission, on one condition."

George, Alex, and Karl looked up at him.

Karl and George let Alex do the talking, "And that is?"

"You boys come with us."
