You didn't know how you managed to get this job, you didn't even know how 049 found out about you being... not human. Once you found out he knew you were terrified he would tell someone, but to your surprise he hasn't said anything.
Lost in your thought, you didn't even notice the breach alarm going off, the one thing that brought you out of your thoughts was the screaming from one of your coworkers and them a sickening crunch sound. You turned you head as quick as you could, catching the scp before it could make you it's next victim. Jumping out of your chair, you slowly made your way to the door. Pulling out your key card and pressing it to the scanner, once it opened you backed up and closed the door. You knew you only had a few minutes before he made his way out of the room through the vents. And you fucking ran.
As you wondered the halls you heard a voice behind you, "049! Thank goodness you're here!" Happy to finally have someone by your side to help you make your way out. He said nothing, but he really didn't need to. You knew both of you wanted to get tf out of this place. You were sick of working in a place that might contain you for being born with things you never asked for. And he had expressed that, if given the chance, he would leave for the same reason. Neither of you asked to be this way so why are you guys being punished and killed? "Let's go, I know the safer way out. To the car!" You said grabbing his hand, he quickly pulled it away to your surprise. "Don't worry, you can't kill me." You said holding out your hand to him. "Come on, let's go." He reluctantly took your hand and you both walked to the exit.
As soon as you got to the car garage you both got into your car and drove off. As you drove you felt 049s eyes on you, watching you carefully. "What's on your mind 049?" He just shook his head "It's nothing, my dear. Just admiring your beauty." You face went bright red. "Oh really?" He nodded. As soon as you got to a red light you turned to him, "You're too kind, doctor." Were you trying to flirt with him? Maybe. Or it might be just a statement, who knows.
But you were definitely flirting with him.
Sorry it's so short, it completely slipped my mind that I said I'd get this out. Work is super tiring, fuck retail man.
