This was an old request that I didn't see. I'm so sorry for missing it! (Like from a year ago)

Warnings! This was a really older request so I have no idea what I wrote down.

'I have to get out of here' I thought as I ran. As I ran I passed by a d-class, normally I'd ignore then if I didn't lose my map of this place, only working here for a few weeks. "Hey, come with me! Let's get out of here!" He said, his appearance wasn't like any of the others I've seen. He had long brown hair, scale like tattoos on his arms and brownish colored eyes.

I paused, ' Maybe he DOES know a way out, it's better than running into 106 or 173 alone' I debated my options, the high chance of dying by someone or something alone without an idea where I am or trust a d-class I've never seen before who hasn't tried to kill my yet and probably has an idea of a way out. With my panic and adrenaline I decided to take my chances with the random stranger.

"Alright, let's go!" I yelled over the loud noises and ran over to him, he grabbed my arm and ran. I then took notice that he might be looking for a employee to get a way out without much consequences. 'It's still better than dying alone'

We ran, and ran, and ran, untill we came to SCP-079s containment room. "Open it, it'll talk to me and unlock gate B" I slowly took out my key card, level 4 should be enough to get in here. It slowly opened to reveal another door, to which we also tried to open, tried being the keyword here. It slowly opened but then shut. I tried again and the same thing happened. There was swearing from the D-class before he placed his hands between the door in an attempt to pry it open, I tried once more with my key card and it opened enough for him to hold it open. He slowly bent the door enough to keep it open, 'Ah, a red flag. He's a scp. Let's just ignore that because I choose life today.' We both walked in so carelessly. A dead mtf guard near by should've been my other red flag but I also ignored that also, remembering the scps past files.

We quickly came to a stop in front of the caged computer. "Alright 079, its me, unlock Gate B and let's get out of here." He said as he grabbed a randomly placed duffle bag. 079s screen lit up and then turned to a black screen with letters on it. Normally the scps would be insulting you, you've been assigned to do tests with him before but today he didn't. You realized that YOU'RE their only way out, "Wait, we're taking him with us?" You questioned, tilting your head to the side. "Yep" was you're only response. You pondered just running but remembered how easily the man had forced his way into the containment room earlier and, once again, chose life.

You let out a sigh, this was your only option basically. So you went with it, assisting with removing 079 from the table after unlocking the cage and disabling any alarm or anything to stop people from opening the cage.

Then the plan to leave came to mind, how are you gonna get 079 out of here? Would they be able to track you by using his IP or a tracker that they might've put on him? You'll definitely have to move states and change your name.. You guys were definitely on camera.

"Shit, the cameras! I forgot about those!" You yelled, panic bubbling up in you. The, now known SCP, wasn't panicking at all, how could you not freak out? "Stop being a child, let's go." He said holding 079 in on of his arms, grabbing you hand with the other and dragging you to the door.

Time skip to getting out.

You took the SCPs to your car, you'd have to sell that car too. They had the plate on camera too probably, although you didn't see anything camera like. It's better to be safe then sorry. As soon as everyone was in the car you booked it out of the car garage.

Once you got home you called a few friends to help you pack, you didn't need the foundation finding you. As you hung up the phone you saw the human SCP looking around your house. "You're really gonna sell this place?" He questioned, "if you wanna have a place to hide out, then yes. What SCP are you? There's no way that a human could open those gates the way you did." You said putting a hand on your hip. He took his time, thinking over his answer.
"682 is the number I was assigned, apparently." "682?! No freaking way! That's so cool! I've been trying to get transfered to your case!" You said excitedly, happy to finally meet the feared by everyone SCP. "Wait, weren't you, like, a lizard? How did you turn into a human?" "Stop asking questions, I'm sick of them You're acting like a child.." His voice was cold, but his eyes had slight amusement in them. Like a child who just got a new toy or something.

"Well.. I'm y/n, it's nice to meet you 682. Uh, do you have another name or something you'd like to go by?" You said as you held your hand out to him. He slowly took your hand and shook it. "Not really, but it's uh, nice to meet you too..?" He definitely had no idea on how to act around someone who wasn't trying to kill him. "That's alright, we can go on Google and find a name for you!" Pulling out your phone as you typed in 'gender neural names' in. "Hmm, how about Kai! I think it fits you pretty well." "...Kai it is then.."  Soon you heard your door bell go off and you rushed to the door, "We'll go out to get you some clothes that fit you once we get all packed up!" You yelled as you walked away.

A small smile made it's way to his face, 'maybe not ALL humans weren't that bad..' he thought as some of your friends made their way over to his to introduce themselves.

That's the bast I've got right now, I have to get going to work soon so I might now get another out too soon! Thanks for reading!
