TRIGGER WARNING! Slight mentions of ED and bullying!

I understand that men can deal with all of the above but I can't help but to remember a bit about my own struggle so the reader will be female BUT I will make it easy to replace words.

Taking a deep breath in as I stood from the floor, I whipped my mouth and walked to class. My last class of the day, history which also happens to be my favorite subject. "Hey Y/n, wait up!" I turned to see my dear friend Ashley(change the name of needed), "Hey Ashley, how ya doing." Smiling to her as I fixed my books under my arm 'Three minutes until class' my mind told me. "I'm doing pretty good! How are you?" She said as she messed with her hair, "I'm... I'm great now that you're hear to make me smile!" Not a complete lie but still somewhat a lie. "That's good, do you wanna hang out after school? We can go to the arcade in the mall and I'll cover the costs so you don't have to ask for money." Looking to my shoes as I walked, "Maybe.. I don't know. How about we go later after school? Five sound good, then I'll have time to ask Lar- I mean, my dad." She nodded before running off to her last class.

As expected, history was fairly easy for me. Which added gas to the fire. Who knew kids would still pick on others for being smart or dumb. It was so childish that the school didn't even look into my complaints about the others, it wasn't like they would anyway.. but my worst nightmare happened during class. It was a boys birthday and his parents brought a cake and other snacks for the class. If I ate it I would get picked on for it and the same goes if I didn't. I just wanted them to stop calling me names, taking my stuff, hitting, pushing, and kicking me. So I decided to 'keep it for later'. I've already eaten to much today.

After school.

Surprisingly, the others didn't come and pick on me as I waited for my ride. I knew exactly where he came from, a foundation where the unusual went. One of the guards picked me up everyday. As soon as my ride got here I opened the door to the car and put my earbuds in to block out any thoughts that came to my mind. Not always working but it did this time.

More time skip to the house.

"I'm home..." I said as I put my bag down. Lawrence wanted a chance to be more human and the 'foundation' decided to let him take in a child from foster care, that just so happened to be me. They gave him a place to live and a year or so without having to pay anything for it so they can see if he could be fit to get a job somehow. It was basically an experiment that you were roped into, not that you minded, it was nice to have someone to be a dad to you.

"Hey Y/n, nice to see you're home. How was school?" Smiling as the man himself spoke to me. "It was... fine. Some kids parents brought a cake to school for his birthday, I kept mine to give to you." Pulling out the piece of cake that was in a plastic container and handed it to him with a smile. "Oh thank you. But don't you want it? I thought you liked cake." "No, I'm fine. I don't want it and I thought it would be an okay 'thank you're gift for taking me out of foster care." He nodded and took it from me(let's assume he doesn't have that goop stuff) before setting it on the table. I walked to the bathroom taking off my shoes on the way before standing on the scale to see how much I weighed again. Writing the amount in a note book before walking to me room, it still didn't look enough when I saw myself in the mirror.

Throwing myself into my bed in frustration and exhaustion, debating two things, one taking a shower and two if I should actually go out with my friend or not. Still deep in thought, I didn't notice that Lawrence came into my room before I felt a tap on my shoulder which caused me to jump and sit up. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I was wondering what you wanted for dinner." His expression was kind just like a father looking at his daughter, "I don't really know.. I don't even think I want to eat anything honestly..." I muttered, trying to also play it off as being tired. "That's alright, let me know if you change your mind." I nodded before looking at the clock in my room, I now knew why he asked about dinner. It was 5:30 and he always did dinner at six or seven. Quickly debating again about the outing. I frowned, knowing that it was probably to late. Picking up my phone I noticed three texts from Ashley.
