049 is a very watchful person, he takes notice of everything around him so when he heard the sound of a crying baby he was more than shocked. Walking over to the crying, he looked everywhere for the poor thing. After some looking he found the baby wrapped up in bloody blanket next to a female body, who seemed to be the childs mother. He also took notice of the bag near the body that seemed to have multiple baby care items.

Needing to make a quick decision, he picked up the baby, grabbed the bag, and looking over towards the woman's dead body "Apologies miss but I'm stealing your baby and bag, I'll take good care of them." And with that he walked home to attempt to take care if the baby he had just taken in.

As he was walking he realized that he not only stole a baby and a bag, he is now taking on the responsibility as a father to a kid that he doesn't even know the gender of!
Soon a little coo was heard from the baby in his arms, the baby looked up at 049 and with a cute smile, they reached up in an attempt to grab at the beak of his mask.

One week later (in spongebob narrator voice)

049 had soon discovered that the child was a boy and also that being a father was the hardest thing he has ever done. But it was also rewarding at times, the sweet little coos and giggles from smallest of things the two did together was one of those rewards. The hard part was trying to feed him and name the baby, soon settling on y/n as a fair name for the boy.

As 049 squished up food for y/n who was crying in a chair, after he was done he sat down and fed him. After he was done feeding him, 049 washed y/n up and sat down with him. 049 and y/n, both being very tired, fell asleep.

Maybe fatherhood wouldn't be so bad after all...
