Scp-049 x chronic reader

So first things first, I am just putting down the things I deal with so there is a chance that others have a different experience.

049s pov

I smiled at the girl, she was laying in the hospital bed neddle in her arm getting treatment. It just never works for her, its been stressful.

"My arm hurts.." she said breaking the silence looking out to me, "I know dear, just hold on. Its going to at least help you" of course I didn't believe it but she needs some from of hope. "I know, I just don't like the thought of a bone marrow biopsy..." I nodded, she never liked staying in the hospital let alone treatment the involves a big needle. Standing up I walked over to her bag and pulled out some books and took it to her. Handing it to her, she tried to hold it but dropped it. She sighed, "I don't want to be weak like this anymore. I don't like my life.."she spoke but her voice was hoarse.
"I know dear. I know..." Her eyes reddened but forced a smile. "Can you hand me my Dexcom? I wanna check my sugar.." I nodded and handed it to her, she muttered something about it seeming good.

How in the world I got here? The foundation decided I should pick someone to watch over and I picked her. Thats all, its similar to "Make A Wish" but not.

After a few minutes the platelet transfusion was done, the beeping of the machine was loud. Y/n pressed the nurse button on a remote and soon a nurse picked up, "Its beeping, can you come and fix it please?" Y/n quietly asked still loud enough for the nurse to hear, "Of course dear" "Thank you.."

Minutes later a nurse walked in and set of a saline flush(to push the medication fully in the body) then left. Y/n sighed "How mush longer do I need to wait until I can get this over with?", "You'll probably be discharged tomorrow evening. If things go well, but I'm sure you'll be fine."

Time skiiiiiipppp.

A knock at the door woke up both of us, a nurse got her blood pressure and left. This happened a few times during the night but y/n normally slept through it. At maybe nine in the morning she woke up, we both talked, watched TV, and I read some books to her. I had gotten slightly attached to her, I don't understand why I just have. At maybe three pm it was time for her to go for the biopsy, I walked with her to the center, the poor thing was freaking out slightly. I calmed her down a bit and she was sent in for the biopsy.

Afterward.

Maybe an hour or less she was done, waking up and falling back asleep and making the nurses laugh. It was cute.

After maybe the fifth of sixth time she was finally waking up completely, thanks to a nurse talking to her along with the lights being on completely. "Its time to wake up" "Okay.." her voice was sweet as if she was talking to her mother(or any other family member/friend) waking her up for school on a good day. She was then rolled into her room, smiling and talking to me about anything she loved.

"Are you going to keep visiting me after we figure out whats wrong with me?" She questioned, "I have not a clue but I do hope to keep contact with you." She nodded. After she was set in her room she asked for a gaming set to which a nurse brought in. It was an 'Xbox' that had a few games on it. Minecraft, fortnite, GTA 5, and some combat games. She started up the Fortnite and got to playing.

It was just too cute when ever she won a round, 'I hope I get to be in contact with her after all of this.'

Not the best one I've ever done but I have a break from school so am trying to get as many as I can done. >_<
