Somewhere in Vale, a woman is in her kitchen cooking a meal for herself and her huntsman husband, who was currently on his way home from a mission. It was a happy marriage. They could have many things...
Except for a child.
The two, Michael and Selene, have been married for over 3 years, and for the past year, the two have been trying to conceive. Unfortunately, they have had no luck. Today, they were just trying to take a break and focus on the good.
Just then, the door opened, and Michael walked in with his weapon resting on his shoulder. Selene turned and saw her husband, instantly gaining a smile. He walked up to him and the two immediately embraced. When they parted, the two look each other in the eyes.
Selene: Hey hon. How did it go?
Michael: Fine. It was a pain in the ass but I had Qrow to back me up. *sniff* Is that what I think it is?
Selene then moves out of the way to reveal what she's been making.

They then both look back to each other and embrace in a kiss once again. Once they break the kiss they head over to the table and begin eating the delicious dinner. Once finished, the two went upstairs to continue their mission.

Michael and Selene were laying in bed naked after multiple sessions of lovemaking. Not that it would actually result in pregnancy. Tonight however, fate has different plans.

Both Michael and Selene shoot awake from the sound of lightning and what appeared to be an infant crying. Once awake the two got up out of bed and grabbed their bathrobes before heading downstairs. When they arrived at their front door they opened it to see a baby on the ground, wrapped in a blanket. Both of them were in shock of what they were seeing, but they could still think clearly enough to act. Selene Immediately bent down to pick up the baby and walked inside with it, while Michael closed the door behind her. Both of them made their way back inside towards their living room, where the two simply looked at the baby in Selene's hands. There was no note, in fact there wasn't anything other than the blanket surrounding him. Selene begin rocking him to try and calm him down. Michael walked back to the front door, and when he got there he flipped a switch to turn on the front light so that he could get a better view, but this only added to his confusion. There were no foot prints, nor was there any light from a vehicle in any direction. It's like the child just appeared there on its own. He turned around and walked back to the living room, where he saw his wife sitting down on the couch after she had successfully calmed the baby down. He sat down next to her and the two of them simply stared at the child in front of them.
